With the continuous progress of urbanization,China's urbanization has gradually changed from pursuing the accumulation of quantity to focusing on the improvement of quality.In this process,the public demand for urban cultural life is increasingly strong.As an important place for urban public life and historical and cultural display,the museum's own functions also change with the development of society.At present,the social function of the museum is more and more emphasized.It has gradually changed from a sacred Cultural Palace to a popular cultural institution,and become a good place for the public's daily leisure activities.As a part of Museum,the external space of museum should conform to the development trend of Museum popularization and better carry the urban public life.On the one hand,it is the necessary place for visitors to enter the museum,the beginning of the whole tour process,on the other hand,and more importantly,it is the intersection zone between urban space and buildings,a part of urban public space,which has a great impact on the public life of citizens.However,in real life,many museums' external space is only a channel to the museum,which can not well carry the public life,resulting in the low vitality of the external space.Therefore,it is necessary to enhance the vitality of external space and make it serve the society better.This paper takes the external space of the museum as the research object,analyzes the characteristics of the external space of the museum through the on-the-spot investigation of the external space of the museum and the detailed analysis of classic cases.From the macro and meso perspective,this paper puts forward the strategy of improving the vitality of the museum's external space,and from the micro layout and streamline organization,deepen the design research of improving the vitality of the museum's external space.Firstly,the thesis combs the research background and related research theories to clarify the research problems and contents;secondly,it studies the characteristics of the museum's external space from the aspects of the opening of the museum's external space to the city,the interaction of the internal and external space,the diversification of the external space functions and human needs;then it puts forward three strategies to enhance the vitality of the museum's external space,that is,with the urban space The transformative design strategy,the derivative design strategy and the narrative design strategy combined with the architectural elements and the placespirit are combined.Finally,three layout modes are put forward,which can enhance the vitality of juxtaposition layout,fusion layout and three-dimensional layout.In the organization of the streamline,the diversity of the weakening Memorial streamline and streamline are selected There are three kinds of organization modes: selection and streamline.Through the research of this paper,we hope to improve the vitality of the external space of the museum building,improve the quality of the external space,shape the external space of the museum building into a charming place,and promote it to better serve people's public life.
