Hospital buildings,places used to maintain the health for population,undoubtably take important social responsibilities.Meanwhile,with the rapid development of social economy and the improvement of people's living standard,people are expecting a better hospital environment,which leads to an increase in hospital construction cost.The phenomenon,that hospital buildings have became one of the highest energy-consumption building type,brings a question which need systematical analysis: How to reduce energy consumption and to create comfortable indoor living environment for both medical practitioner and patients? Passive ultra-low-energy consumption buildings could fit in well with climate and natural environment by using thermal insulation and air tightness building envelope,utilizing novel hot air recovery technology,and making use of renewable resources.Thus,the application of passive technology and green design in hospital buildings could be a valuable exploration in the development of hospital buildings,and also have a profound impact on it.This paper conducts a research based on the structure of‘background analysis,theory foundation,applicable principles,case study'.First,the author defines study scope by gathering materials and comparing domestic and international research outcome including the United States' LEED,the United Kingdom's BREEM evaluation system,Japan's CASBEE evaluation system,and China's ‘Assessment Standard for Green Building' GB/T50378-2019.Then,the author concludes the meanings and characteristics of passive technology through case study of German passive house's ultra-low-energy technology system's analysis,and thereby,proposes the future direction of the development of hospital buildings design and provides the analysis basis for passive technology building design by analyzing domestic and international cases.Next,in the term of building design,this paper proposes the principle of building layout and the form of architecture design,analyzes the pre-design of passive technology hospital building including site selection,layout and function space partition.From the perspective of architecture technology,the author explains detailed strategies from the aspects of energy usage efficiency and energy consumption reduction,concludes a design method of building envelope and energy usage that could fit in well with local climate environment.Last,the author applies the design to the optimization of practical plan and concludes the results according to the comparison and analysis between ‘Design standard for energy efficiency of public building' DB22/436-2007 before and ‘Design standard for energy efficiency of public building' DB22JT149-2016 after optimized.
