With the continuous development of modern industry,China has proposed"China's intellectual creation"to produce products with creativity and competitiveness,which puts extremely high demands on industrial robots.In industrial robots,the reducer is the core component,which directly affects the execution accuracy of industrial robots.Because of large transmission ratio and high precision,the market share of RV reducer is getting higher and higher.Based on the RV reducer,this paper analyzes the stress of the main components is analyzed and the cycloidal wheel is optimized in this paper.The research results have important industrial application value.At first the 3D model of RV-20E reducer is built.Then the ANSYS software is used to analyze the stress magnitude and distribution range of the cycloidal wheel,the pins and the pin housing.The results show that the inner of the pin housing has the compressive stress of the pins.The stress on the cycloidal wheel is asymmetrical,and the maximum stress occurs at the contact part of the cycloidal wheels with the crankshaft.Almost all of the pins are stressed,and some of the pins have shear force.Then a new type of short pins is designed.After analysis of the short pins,it is found that there are less shearing force and bending stress on them.Secondly,a new method of modification of cycloidal wheel is proposed.In the method of cycloidal wheel modification,the tooth profile after modified by rotated angle is generally used as the objective function for fitting.The traditional fitting range is a complete tooth profile,while the fitting range in this paper is limited to the meshing area.Using MATLAB to draw the tooth profiles designed by two modification methods,it's found the profile designed by the new method can better meet the modification requirements.Finally,the test of the RV reducer which contains the new cycloidal wheel is carried out.The designed cycloidal wheel is assembled with the original reducer components,which constitutes a new RV reducer,and then new reducer is subjected to transmission error,transmission accuracy and vibration acceleration experiments.The experimental results show that the transmission error of the new reducer is less than one arc.And the transmission efficiency of the new reducer is within a reasonable range.And the vibration acceleration is less than 0.2m/s~2,so it can be considered that the newly designed cycloidal wheel is feasible.
