With the development of electric power meter reading business,in order to ensure more effective,reliable and intelligent meter reading business,broadband micropower wireless communication will replace power line communication(PLC)as a new communication mode.However,it has two problems: on the one hand,broadband micropower wireless communication works in the public frequency band which is susceptible to interference from other systems;on the other hand,communication equipment such as electricity meters are installed in complex and variable channel environment,resulting in low transmission reliability.This puts forward higher requirements for the overall performance of broadband micropower wireless communications.Polar code is currently the only coding scheme that has been proven to reach the Shannon limit in theory.Compared with the traditional turbo code in the PLC system,it has a more prominent performance in encoding and decoding.So the application of polar code in broadband micropower wireless communication is an effective way to improve overall performance.This thesis solves two problems of polar code applied to broadband micropower wireless communications: one is the low complexity decoding of polar code in broadband micropower wireless communications;the other is the rate compatibility of polar code in broadband micropower wireless communications.The specific research work is as follows:1.In order to meet the performance requirements of broadband micropower wireless communication,traditional polar code decoding algorithm need to set large list,which leads to high decoding complexity.To reduce the high decoding complexity,this thesis proposes an adaptive decoding algorithm based on bit flipping.In this algorithm,the list is selected adaptively,and the list decreases with the increase of signal-noise ratio,so the overall complexity has been reduced.Compared with the traditional algorithm,the proposed can reduce the decoding complexity while ensuring the decoding performance.2.In order to solve the problem that the performance varies with various coding rates by the traditional rate compatible scheme for polar code,a high reliable rate compatible scheme for polar codes is proposed based on the analysis of puncturing schemes in C0 mode and C1 mode.By combining two traditional puncturing schemes,the proposed can avoid the problem that the performance varies with various coding rates,which can meet the multi-rate requirement of broadband micropower wireless communication.3.By combining the low complexity decoding algorithm of polar code and the high reliable rate compatible scheme of polar code,a complete solution of polar code applied to broadband micropower wireless communication is given in this thesis.Compared with turbo code in PLC system,the simulation results show that the performance advantage of polar code in broadband micropower wireless communication is verified under the various actual channel data.
