| Since the Grand Canal became a world cultural heritage,many disciplines have conducted researches on the protection,utilization and development of the canal from multiple perspectives.Although the archives have also conducted related researches,however relatively speaking,the degree of research is relatively low.Canal memory archives,as an important carrier of canal culture research and construction of canal memory,are significance to the protection and inheritance of canal culture,and are an indispensable part of the canal culture research process.The research focuses on the construction of the "Canal Memory Archives" in Zhejiang section from the perspective of social memory theory,and establishes a "subject-intermediary-object" analysis framework for the construction of the canal memory,taking the archival research paradigm that changes from "evidence" to "memory" as the logical starting point,with the goal of constructing canal memory,explores the role of canal memory archives as an intermediary for the construction of canal memory,how to connect the main body of canal memory construction,and perfect the object of canal memory,and put forward countermeasures and suggestions on this basis.In the research process,the research uses methods such as literature investigation method,interview method,analysis and induction method,and case analysis method.Through in-depth interviews,we have a detailed understanding of the current situation and existing problems of the construction of canal memory files in each archive.The study found that Zhejiang Province has relatively rich and complete types of canal memory archives in various formation and storage entities,but the research on the construction of canal memory archives in the Zhejiang section is relatively lagging,and there are still problems in the identification,compilation and research of canal memory archives.These problems are mainly manifested in the insufficient diversification,insufficient interactivity,and lack of synergy in the construction of the canal memory,insufficient comprehensiveness,besides lack of typicality in the construction of the canal memory,and fragmentation of the object of the canal memory.The reasons behind these problems are complex and diverse.Historical reasons such as the scattered management of the Canal’s memory archives,as well as insufficient theoretical guidance,lack of awareness of participation,and backward management mechanisms and construction capabilities.These problems indicate that the current construction of Canal memory archives is still at a lower level,have not escaped the influence of the traditional archive management model,and have not realized the "memory consciousness" under the archive memory theory.In view of the current problems in the construction of Canal Memory Archives,this research starts from the analysis framework of "subject-intermediary-object" and proposes to strengthen the archives from the two dimensions of the constructing subject(archives)and the constructing intermediary(canal memory archives).Canal memory constructs subject consciousness and capacity building,builds canal memory with canal memory archives as the carrier,and contributes to the power of archives in the process of protection,inheritance,and utilization of canal culture. |
