Research On Design Methods Of Primary And Secondary School Complex Based On High-Density Building Design Strategy

Since the reform and opening up,especially since this century,urbanization has become an inevitable requirement in the process of industrialization and modernization,which will inevitably lead to the formation of high-density environment in some cities and regions.Moreover,with the shortage of land resources for education and the increasing number of school-age children,the design of primary and secondary schools in a high-density urban environment has become a major problem that needs to be resolved.In addition,with quality education advocated,flexibility and openness of campus space have been valued,which puts forward higher requirements on the campus environment where the land resource is already inadequate.The author makes analysis from the urban high-density environment under the guidance of the design strategy of high-density buildings,and explores the design method of the primary and secondary school complex through literature research,field research,and case analysis.The essay first analyzes the development process and the current situation of primary and secondary schools in high-density urban environment,and summarizes the pressing problems as well as the causes facing primary and secondary schools.Then,the development process of high-density building design theory and practice is analyzed,the main design strategies are summarized,and the adaptability of the strategies is analyzed according to the current situation of primary and secondary schools.After that,the essay classifies and summarizes the functional space elements of primary and secondary school complexes,analyzes its functional space characteristics based on actual cases from the perspectives of strategies.Finally,the design principles of the primary and secondary school complexes are proposed according to the strategy,and the design methods are summarized from the three aspects of rational layout form,functional composite and spatial three-dimensional,and spatial quality improvement,to guide the design of the Peking University Affiliated Middle School Xisanqi Campus.The essay applies high-density building design strategies to the study of designs of primary and secondary school complexes,sums up the corresponding design methods,and further analyzes in accordance with the actual cases to verify the feasibility of the methods in practice.The author hopes that it can broaden the thinking and provides significance for the design of primary and secondary schools in high-density urban environments.
