With the continuous development of urbanization in China,the number of high-rise buildings is increasing,and the height record is constantly broken.Due to the chimney effect,the fire in high-rise buildings will develop quickly,and it is difficult to rescue and evacuate people.Once a fire occurs,it will inevitably cause a large number of casualties and bring heavy economic losses and adverse impacts to the society.Therefore,more scientific and efficient personnel evacuation research has become a very important topic in the field of safety.After consulting relevant literature,this paper summarizes the basic theory of safe evacuation of high-rise buildings.The problem of personnel evacuation in fire is a complicated process involving a variety of influencing factors,among which building structure and personnel characteristics are the most important.This paper studies a high-rise dormitory building in a university.Firstly,Pyro Sim software was used to simulate the fire smoke of the building,and the available evacuation time was obtained based on the empirical formula.Then,SIMULEX software was used to simulate the evacuation of the building under several conditions,and it was found that the evacuation bottleneck was mainly at the staircase.Finally,based on the above simulation conclusions,corresponding optimization Suggestions and strategies are proposed for the evacuation of the dormitory building,such as setting separation columns at the main exit and upgrading supporting fire fighting facilities.
