The Feasibility Analysis Characteristic Town

Currently,the construction of characteristic towns has been prevalent in China since Zhejiang Province pioneered the concept and then successfully put it into practice in 2014.Besides,constructing characteristic towns with unique elements and innovation are becoming feasible thanks to the rising smart industry as well as the combination of the internet and the traditional industries.Moreover,the agricultural service-oriented characteristic towns will definitely bring various benefits such as promoting the sustainable development in rural areas,stimulating the rural economy,adjusting the rural industrial pattern,improving the living environment in the countryside,addressing the rural issues,etc.In this thesis were analyzed the policies related to the characteristic town construction,constructional elements,and the model characteristic towns home and abroad,which has given rise to the design of agricultural service-oriented towns.Based on the analysis of ‘Internet Plus Characteristic Towns’,a novel concept of planning and development — ‘1+XD+2’ — has been put forward,where the Internet-based platform will be established to facilitate the trade of local agricultural products,hence upgrading the traditional industry.In this thesis,Maolin Town,as an example,has been conceptually developed with the idea ‘1+4D+2’,which aims to convert Maolin into a town characteristic of Internet plus agriculture service.From the perspective of Internet Plus,the agricultural service-oriented characteristic towns could be constructed with the Internet Plus conventional agriculture.The emphasis should be placed on the integration of agricultural industries,development of the superior ones,and the cluster of agricultural industries.The internet platform is able to help create an open business environment for the characteristic towns,boosting the electronic commerce,smart logistics,internet finance,technological innovation,etc.
