Research On The Application Of Nomadic Space In Intelligent Digital Architecture

The intelligent digital architecture is an "architecture" created by means of computer software program.It exists in computer storage media in the form of digital files.And it is displayed on a screen in a visual way to show to people.It can be divided into two categories.One is the digital"twin" which is consistent with the physical architecture.The other is pure digital architecture which is not consistent with any physical architecture.There is a certain correlation between these two categories of digital architecture.The intelligent level of intelligent digital architecture needs the help of computer program algorithm,which can produce the result of computer"self generation",and is beyond the level of people's imagination and painting expression.This paper discusses those "advanced" intelligent digital architecture with machine learning ability and self judgment ability.It also does not ignore the "primary" intelligent digital architecture without the above capabilities.The distinction of intelligence level is helpful to the discussion of space application in the paper.Space is the core issue of architecture.Spatial archetype involves many dimensions.It can be described by place,path,domain and other elements.Whether such classification and attributes are still applicable in intelligent digital architecture is the core issue of this study.With the"nomadic space" which has received much attention and discussion in recent years as an example,it is considered by the paper that nomadic space is one of many architectural space archetypes.Neither is it a "past tense"as some scholars think,nor does it represent an inevitable trend of the future as some hot discussions claim.After summing up the various arguments,combined with theoretical thinking,we claim that although the life scenario of nomads is a prototype of nomadic space,no clear and consistent view has been formed about its characteristics.Therefore,the three characteristics of decentralization,smoothness and multi perception proposed by the paper are not based uniquely on the views of some parties of scholars.It is a comprehensive conclusion we made after combing various viewpoints.For the contradiction of the views of various parties,the paper also has its own analysis and presents its own judgment and conclusion.In short,nomadic space is a good starting point,which can be used to analyze the space application issues of intelligent digital architecture.The paper selects three representative scenes:city scene,architectural boundary scene and architectural interior scene to observe the application of nomadic space in intelligent digital architecture.In order to express the issues more intuitively,some cases of physical architecture are also used.They are mainly used to illustrate the application of nomadic space in digital architecture corresponding to physical architecture.The intelligent digital technologies used in these applications are also summarized.The Enlightenment of the work done in the paper to the future architectural design practice is that it is not enough to only pay attention to the external form of architecture or the generation of some architectural forms,the essential characteristics of architectural space and their deeper application under the condition of intelligent digital technologies must be considered comprehensively.
