Research On Construction And Heritage Value Of Nantong As A Modern Industrial City

Nantong is a national historical and cultural city characterized by modern culture,and is also known as "the first city of modern China".All this stems from a modernization led by his hometown Nantong with the idea of saving the country through industry in the more than 30 years since the late Qing Dynasty Zhang Ye began in 1895.The modern construction and development of Nantong is a comprehensive planning under the guidance of Zhang Jian's urban planning thoughts.It involves various aspects of the city's industry,education,culture,charity,etc.,and focuses on the overall regional development that is coordinated with cities and villages.So far,he has left us an outstanding Cultural heritage: the modern industrial city of Nantong.It is guided by Zhang Jian's urban planning thoughts,and has a lot of modern industrial heritages.It takes one city and three towns as its core,and the scope can reach area of Tonghai.At present,a series of modern historical relics that are basically intact are a true and complete record of the era of drastic changes.They are the epitome of industrial salvation in modern Chinese history,and important material evidence of in-depth exchanges between Chinese and Western cultures.They have witnessed the Chinese autonomy in modern times.An important development process for industrialization.The research content of this article is the construction of modern industrial city and analysis of heritage value in Nantong.First of all,this article puts forward the concept of "Nantong Modern Industrial City" as a cultural heritage under the guidance of Zhang Jian's planning thoughts,so as to correspond to possible future application activities.Secondly,a preliminary investigation was conducted on the elements of modern cultural heritage preserved in Nantong through research.Starting from the direction of urban cultural heritage,from the aspects of material cultural heritage and intangible materialized heritage,analyze and sort out the cultural relics of modern industrial cities in Nantong,and explore the composition of the heritage system of Nantong as modern industrial city.Finally,in view of the outstanding universal value standards of world cultural heritage,this paper expounds and analyzes that the "Nantong Modern Industrial City" complies with the two standards of World Cultural Heritage(II)and(IV).It is hoped that by in-depth analysis of the heritage value of Nantong Modern Industrial City,Nantong's application for world cultural heritage in the future provides a holistic approach,and provides a solid foundation for the protection and reuse of urban cultural heritage in the future.
