Study On The Design Of Community Public Space Based On Children's Activity Demand

As a part of urban planning,community public space is an important place for children to choose outdoor activities during their growth.However,the current community public space design is mainly to meet the needs of adults' daily outdoor activities,which largely ignores the use rate of children in the community public space.In a large number of community surveys,it is found that there are some problems in the current domestic community,such as poor experience of children,less functionality,single form of greening,lack of vitality of road space,etc.at the same time,the lack of consideration of children's behavior needs in the design of public space,so that the community public space can only meet a small part of the needs,and the overall vitality of the community has been greatly reduced.From the perspective of children's needs for outdoor activities,this paper explores new strategies for the renewal and design of social public space.The methods adopted by the research institute include field research,collection of relevant literature,comparative analysis and summary of relevant cases at home and abroad.The study found that the needs of children in each age stage are different.We should take into account the needs of children in each age stage and even children of different genders.When designing public space,we should meet the needs of all children's outdoor activities,and at the same time,we should take into account some spaces and facilities that adults need to care for children.Only by deeply exploring the needs of children's outdoor activities,can children get the development of physical and mental health at this stage.Community public space based on children's needs can not only improve the communication vitality of the whole community,but also for their physical and mental health development,which will affect the development of the whole society in the future.
