Research On The Protection And Activation Of The Public Space Of Shuixi Ancient Village In Guangzhou

In the development history of urban and rural areas,the integration of urban and rural areas has been the ultimate goal and the highest stage of the development of human society since ancient times.It is particularly important to properly handle the relationship between urban and rural areas.However,if we want to integrate urban and rural areas,we must revitalize rural areas.Protecting and activating ancient villages is the primary task of rural revitalization.The public space of traditional ancient villages is not only the field of village life and production,but also an important part of the development of traditional ancient villages.How can the cultural heritage in ancient villages be inherited and protected to the greatest extent under such circumstances? It is an urgent problem to protect and activate the public space of ancient villages and realize the integration of urban and rural areas.The traditional culture of the Chinese nation has a long history.Relying on agricultural civilization,the Chinese nation was always the leader of human civilization before the 18 th century.The agricultural civilization of the Chinese nation mainly relies on colorful material and non-material historical and cultural relics.However,these historical relics are mainly manifested in ancient villages and ancient towns.Some villages have been developed for a long time,and the heritage of historical sites is profound.They are very precious non-renewable resources.What they inherit is the root of the Chinese nation,the source of the Chinese culture,and the priceless heritage left by the ancestors.It has not only enhanced the cultural confidence of the Chinese people,but also carried forward the fine traditional Chinese culture,which is the common spiritual culture of the world.They bear historical changes,social information,economic rise and fall,cultural connotations and so on.At the same time,they carry forward artistic cohesion,aesthetic taste,thoughts and emotional characteristics of the times,which are of inestimable value.They are things that can't be reproduced today with any amount of effort.Therefore,the protection and activation of ancient villages and ancient towns are conducive to the implementation of the spirit of the 19 th CPC national congress and theimplementation of the rural revitalization strategy.To maintain the fine traditional culture is to carry forward the Chinese cultural spirit.If the tradition is lost,so is the spirit.We cannot inherit from our ancestors and inspire our children.No matter how beautiful the village is built,it has no soul.The protection and activation of ancient villages,no matter from the political,economic,social and cultural aspects,is the primary task in the early stage of rural revitalization.By means of literature collection and field investigation,the author discusses the theoretical system of protection and activation of public space in ancient villages on the basis of mastering certain materials.The author studies the composition,historical evolution,current situation and use of public space in Shuixi ancient village in Huangpu district,Guangzhou,and analyzes the historical evolution of the public space and the current situation of the space use,and explores the necessity and feasibility of the protection and activation of the public space in Shuixi ancient village,and how to implement the protection and activation.Under the methods and strategies of protection and activation of ancient villages,protection and activation are applied from two aspects:planning and management.Combining with the characteristics of traditional ancient villages around the city,the application scope of space protection and activation theory is expanded.Finally,it summarizes the value of protection and activation of public space in ancient villages and the author's expectation.
