| With the progress of technology and the improvement of productivity,digital design promotes the emergence of new ideas and forms in the field of architecture,but it also leads to the deviation between the morphological freedom of architecture and the rationality of structure,which leads to the misunderstandings of formalism in some buildings,resulting in low economic benefits and waste of resources.The design method based on structural performance can effectively bridge the separation between morphological freedom and structural rationality.It is an attempt to carry out the collaborative design of form and structure,which has been widely used in the 20 th century,creating a batch of works with both structural performance and architectural expression.With the development of parametric design,new possibilities of architectural design combined with structural performance have emerged in the digital era.This thesis mainly studies the theory and technical platform of structural performance generation,focusing on the shell structure and then proposes a shell shape generation method assisted by structural performance generation software,hoping to explore the collaborative relationship between architectural form and structure.The research on related problems and the construction of methods are helpful to promote the unification of digital free form and structural logic,promoting the integration and development of digital metogenetic technology and structural computing technology.In this thesis,from the perspective of the synergy between shape and force,the problem of shell shape structure performance design under complex boundary is studied by theoretical analysis and multi-software combined shaping method.With the help of software using Thrust Network Analysis and software using particle dynamics,the author presents three stages which are: determination of initial conditions,shell shape finding,design of shell texture with structural performance analysis and verification,and carries on the elaboration to each stage.In the first stage,the initial plane setting,boundary condition setting and plane meshing are mainly studied.In the second stage,it mainly studied how to use relevant software to design the shell shape based on the structural performance.In the third stage,it mainly studied how to analyze the stress distribution and stress vector characteristics of the shell to determine the area for texture design and to design texture based on this feature.Finally,through two experiments,the feasibility and effectiveness of the three-stage shaping method are demonstrated in the whole process.The method of shell shape finding design under complex boundary based on structureperformance proposed and demonstrated in this thesis can provide empirical reference and theoretical clues for promoting rational control of digital design.It can also provide positive theoretical value for the integration of digital architectural design and structural engineering. |
