In recent years,the rapid development of digital technology has caused a great impact on the field of architectural design,with the emergence of new design concepts and methods,the external form and internal structure of the building have gradually separated.In order to solve this problem,there is a need for a design method that combines the two.The structural performance design method currently under study can solve this problem more effectively,and as a branch,the method of building spatial shape design based on mechanical properties has further research value in this context.This paper mainly studies the structural performance theory and proposes a set of parametric design methods of complex shell spatial shape based on mechanical properties.This method attempts to seek the unification of the external shape and internal structure of the building through the perspective of the structural discipline.This research mainly focuses on the interdisciplinary field,focusing on the parametric design method of complex shell spatial morphology based on mechanical properties.The design method takes the mechanical properties of the shell as the starting point,and the combination of mechanical analysis and parametric design method for complex shell shape as the research key.The whole design method is divided into three steps: generating the basic shape of the shell,determining the area of the texture change by mechanical analysis,and designing the texture shape.In the formation of complex shell base shape,a method based on the mechanical properties of the shell and using parameterization software to generate the shell shape is used.In the determination of the texture area of the complex shell,a method of analyzing the stress distribution and force flow characteristics of the shell and converting it into an image is adopted.In the formation of texture morphology,a method of abstracting biological forms and transforming them into corresponding algorithms for parametric design is adopted.Through the above-mentioned mechanical analysis method and parametric design method,the design can achieve the goal of complex shell spatial shape design based on mechanical properties.In the reality,the parametric design method of complex shell spatial shape based on mechanical properties can guide the architects to practice the complex shell spatial shape design,and in theory,it can improve the structural performance design theory.At this stage,the parametric design method of complex shell spatial morphology based on mechanical properties studied in this paper can be applied to the spatial shape design of complex shells.The shell shape designed by this method is rich in form,which has the beauty of architectural form and also has an order beauty of structure.The content studied in this paper has certain limitations and shortcomings,and it can further study the spatial shape design of the shell under complex boundary conditions.
