| Along the improvement of living condition,people have higher and higher requirement towards parts of daily used.Car as a necessary tool for transportation,have entered our family.As a consumer product,people have even more critical expectation on its performance.As a big part of interior of vehicle,the instrument cluster and multimedia center will give driver a visual impression of the vehicle.As the function of vehicle increase,more and more control unit are introduced.Especially once when have introduce ADAS(Advance Driver Assist System)related application.The instrument cluster and central display unit need display and interact with driver more and more content.Besides,the instrument cluster is not just an information provider,it more act as an interface between vehicle and driver.so as an interface,it required a powerful and flexible display unit to provide clear and lean information to driver,and an easy interact with the driver as well.The display shows more and more content of the vehicle to the driver in the instrument cluster.Our article is targeting to provide some research on the driver of display unit.Based on that driver,we can add generic display content model on top to show the information structure,to make the content more beautiful and more content.So it increase a lot the report of vehicle status to driver,and improve the overall vehicle’s safety as well.This paragraph introduced the development process of one electronic instrument cluster.Beginning with the input requirement from customer,we analysis the requirement regarding architecture,mechanical,electronic and software separately.Other requirement like: legal,electronic,environment and other non-functional requirement.Based on that above,we do the following:1.Based on customer’s requirement and company’s existing instrument cluster platform.Potential changes.And finally we agree with customer on the styling,performance andall the functional requirements.2.Since the development phase is quite short,and the vehicle electrical environment ismuch terrible,that request a robust power supplier design,in our design,we select avery mature switch power supplier design circuit and input/output handling circuit fromcompany’s design library.3.Also we based on company internal design platform,which is based on so-call KIBESplatform,the KIBES software design is module based software design concept.Thebase driver software and application software are separated and can be designed inparallel.And for the application design,we use logiCAD and grADI tool.So we realizecustomer’s requirement in a short time.Based on customer’s requirement,with the electronic design together with software logicalcontrol,we developed an instrument cluster that can fit customer’s need and also reliable.The research deeply study the instrument cluster development process,and also insight thetechnical know-how and development process,and create the revenue and value for thecompany. |
