Research On The Landscape Design Of The Elderly Apartment From The Perspective Of The Behavior And Activity Of The Elderly

According to international standards,our country has entered an aging society since 1999.The construction and development of pension institutions is an important means to relieve the pressure of aging.For the elderly to provide concentrated living,living needs and old-age services for the elderly apartment has become the development potential of many pension institutions.However,the aging of outdoor environment has not been paid much attention to,especially the research on the demand direction of the elderly.Activity demand is one of the most basic survival needs of the elderly,so it is necessary to systematically study the environmental landscape of the elderly apartment from this perspective.This study comprehensively applied experimental content analysis,factor analysis,correlation analysis and chi-square analysis,focusing on the activity needs of the elderly in Guiyang elderly apartment and the current situation of environmental landscape construction.This paper analyzes the main characteristics of the elderly,daily activity needs and landscape space usage preference,analyzes the relationship between the elderly behavior needs and landscape space,finds out the apartment landscape elements that affect the activity frequency of the elderly,summarizes the existing common problems,and draws the following conclusions:1.the elderly have poor physiological characteristics,but good psychological characteristics.2.the outdoor activities of the elderly are mainly spontaneous and supplemented by sociality,the quality of apartment landscape is the key factor affecting their activities.3.elderly outdoor activities demand can be reduced dimension can be summarized as: low physical,medium physical,high physical behavior activities,different types of elderly people's activity needs.4.there are significant differences in the use preference of the elderly in the landscape space of the elderly apartment: the male elderly prefer introverted space,the female elderly prefer extroverted space,the self-care elderly prefer fitness,leisure space,the intermediary elderly prefer leisure,viewing space,the intermediary elderly prefer viewing space.5.the frequency of outdoor activities of the elderly is weakly correlated with the area of the elderly apartment,accessibility,barrier-free facilities,recreational facilities,fitness ring trails,plant landscape characteristics,and strong correlation with the characteristics of recreational facilities.6.the landscape design of the elderly apartment in Guiyang City,we should consider the needs of differentiated activities for the elderly,allocate limited site resources reasonably,and improve the utilization rate of space.Based on the local reality of Guiyang city,this paper explores the design strategy of apartment landscape which meets the needs of the elderly's behavior activities,and applies and exemplifies the project —— the second phase project design of Guanshan Lake District Pension Service Center in Guiyang City.
