As the most important construction land with ecological value and quality value,urban waterfront space not only promotes the promotion of urban image and the development of economic benefits,but also becomes an important urban public space for residents to close to nature,rest and visit.With the rapid development of the urbanization process,the development and construction stage of the city gradually changes from increment to stock,which puts forward higher requirements for the overall efficiency and vitality improvement of the urban waterfront space.But throughout the current research on the promotion of urban waterfront space vitality,there is still a lack of relatively mature theoretical research methods,and the research objectives are focused on summing up the methods of urban waterfront space planning and construction through practical experience,while ignoring the connotation of the internal relationship between the environmental elements of waterfront space and urban population vitality.In this context,from the perspective of human and environment,this study explores the correlation between the characteristics of waterfront space environmental factors and the resident activity of different intensity groups,explains its internal mechanism connotation,and summarizes the internal mechanism of common factors and different factors that affect the resident activity intensity of waterfront space,in order to meet different needs and intensity of resident activity behavior of cities Urban waterfront space construction provides design guidance.From the perspective of urban waterfront space vitality research,based on the theory of environment and behavior,this paper discusses the influencing factors of urban waterfront space resident vitality behavior,that is willingness factor,support factor and incentive factor,and then determines the three characteristics of environmental factors affecting urban waterfront space vitality,that is,composite,suitability and quality.After the selection of consideration indexes,the quantitative characteristics of urban waterfront space environmental factors are explored from five aspects: land use mix,traffic access conditions,public space base,shoreline base conditions,and facility allocation indexes.The behavioral models of waterfront space resident vitality are summarized into four categories and 15 categories,and their behavioral characteristics are summarized to lay a research foundation for the later research Foundation.In this paper,Mudanjiang waterfront space as the main research object,through field research and questionnaire interviews,respectively,from the participation of urban residents in waterfront resident activities of social attributes and activity characteristics of two aspects of quantitative characteristics of population resident vitality.On this basis,through the correlation analysis of three different intensities of resident activity and spatial environmental factors through SPSS mathematical statistical model,the characteristics of environmental factors that affect resident activity of different intensities are obtained,and the internal mechanism of its influence is explained.Based on this,this paper explores the connotation mechanism of the common factors and the difference factors that affect the waterfront space resident vitality.On this basis,the optimization strategy of Mudanjiang waterfront space vitality promotion is obtained,which comprehensively improves the space vitality from five aspects of environmental elements,and creates a waterfront space environment with quality and popularity.
