Along with the development of urban modernization and the improvement of people's living standard,the demands of human society on the diversification,individuation and convenience of transportation are increasing.The most popular portable means of transportation —— electric bicycle in the 21 st century appear in front of the public.Electric bicycles quickly occupy the transportation market because of their convenient operation,low cost,environmental protection and energy saving.By the end of 2019,the number of electric bicycle society in China was nearly 300 million.Its explosive growth not only brought great traffic pressure to urban roads,but also caused a lot of building space parking problems.Therefore,to explore the parking space of electric bicycle,to explore the relevant design theory,and to improve the parking environment of electric bicycle is a necessary means to solve the parking problem,improve urban traffic and improve people's quality of life.The per capita social possession of electric bicycles in Nanning is among the highest in the country,and the parking problems caused by it is very serious.There has been no efficient solution for the parking problem from the perspectives of traffic and management so far.Therefore,supplementing the architectural design to conduct research in order to propose a systematic solution for the parking problem is necessary.The reason why this paper chose the sample of electric bicycle parking space in Nanning urban area as the research object is that the parking problem of electric bicycles in Nanning is more common and typical,which means the research has a strong use of reference fordomestic cities,especially the southern cities.Taking the city of Nanning as the research scope,the author collects data and field investigation on several typical buildings and surrounding areas with frequent problems of electric bicycle parking,excavates the root of the problem and puts forward the theory and design scheme.This paper first introduces the background of the thesis,clarifies the research object and scope of the thesis,introduces the research results relate to the parking space of electric bicycle,puts forward the research methods,innovations and the framework of the thesis,and explains the purpose and significance of the research.Then the article introduces the development history of electric bicycle and its parking space,summarizes the basic characteristics of electric bicycle,and briefly describes the use of electric bicycle parking space.After determining the research contents and methods,we focus on the site selection,layout,entrance and exit,streamline,space environment,facilities,safety and other aspects of electric bicycle parking space in commercial,office and residential buildings,and analyze the problems existing in parking space.Then,according to the actual situation and relevant specifications,the parking space is systematically studied,and the design principles are put forward.Then according to the characteristics of different building types,different design suggestions are put forward to provide multi-dimensional theoretical reference for the personalized design of parking space.Finally,the electric bicycle parking space design is summed up from the spatial distribution,environment,safety,expansion of the space and commercial,office,residential building types.This paper hopes to supplement the theoretical content of parking lot design by studying the design of parking space for electric bicycle.Provide design reference and basis for designers,property managers and standard setters.Provide a better parking environment for non-motor vehicle users.
