Residential Space Design Research Based On Elderly Care Service

The trend of China’s aging is becoming more and more serious.It is changing from an aging country to an elderly country.The contradiction between the demand for elderly service and social elderly facilities is becoming increasingly acute.This paper can effectively resolve the contradiction by studying the elderly service at home and abroad,analyzing various elderly service models applicable to the aging society in China,and formulating a suitable aging design strategy for the living space that meets the needs of the elderly.In terms of theoretical research,this article divides the types of the Chinese elderly people from three aspects of age,family structure,and living area,and analyzes the characteristics of physiological needs,psychological needs,and lifestyle habits of different elderly people.According to the study of types and needs for the elderly,it explores the dual attributes of living space design adapted for aged: the value for the elderly of the service attribute;the importance for the aged services service of the space attribute.In terms of strategy formulation,this article uses reverse thinking and combines different aged care service models to formulate esign strategies adapted for aged.First of all,it researches the pension service architecture through various levels of policy initiatives,main service models and new service models.Secondly,through the specific meaning,the relationship between the service subject and object,and the development characteristics,the paper analyzes three main aged care service modes of home care,community care and institutional care.And then,according to the problems of different aged care service models,the three aging design strategies of “moderate”,“fragmented”,and “coupling relationship” are formulated,and specific measures are proposed.Finally,the design strategy is practiced in specific cases,planning the overall layout and node connections,and implementing the detailed space design of areas such as daily life,leisure and entertainment,fitness activities,medical examinations,and value remodeling.
