| The South Lake in Yuhang is one of the representative impounding lake systems(ILS)in the Taihu Lake Basin in China with a long history of thousands of years.The Hangjiahu Plain area,lies in the east of the South Lake,has long faced the threat of torrential torrents and floods from the Tiao River.The ancients have constructed the South Lake in the piedmont depressions on the transition zone between the Western Zhejiang Mountainous area and the Hangjiahu Plain.During the land reconstruction process,the region around the South Lake gradually formed a unique" "Mountain-Impounding Lake-City" patternFrom the standpoint of landscape architecture,this paper makes an attempt to clarify the relationship between the South Lake(ILS)and Yuhang Ancient City.Firstly,the research clarified the research content and scope,and combed the natural environmental base of the Yuhang Ancient City region.Secondly,it’s to summarize historical development of the South Lake and the Yuhang Ancient City from five aspects of water conservancy construction,agricultural production,settlement construction,social background,and landscape construction,summarizing the characteristics of the stage development of the city.On this basis,the research is continued by exploring the composition,function and operation mode of the unit of South Lake(ILS),analyzing and exploring the spatial relationship and supporting relationship between the South Lake and the ancient city,as well as the landscape characteristics and the tour system driven by the overall functional system.Based on the current situation of the construction of the ILS and the city,it’s proposed to plan strategies for the protection of the South Lake(ILS)and the renewal of the ancient city of YuhangFinally,based on the protection and transformation strategies of the above city-lake relationship,with the planning of the future science and technology city in Yuhang District in Hangzhou as the background,it carries the blue-green network planning of Yuhang region to reconnect the broken land texture,transforme the blue-green network function,and restore the city’s ecology elasticity.Then select the East Dike of the South Lake,which is connected to the old city,to make the detailed design of lakeside park,integrating hydraulic dams with life,ecology,and scenery.While storing floods and preventing floods,it may connect the city and lake to activate the urban water space,construct a public activity corridor,continue the landscape and style features of the landscape city,and build an elastic lagoon space in the new era. |
