With the progress of urbanization and economic development,people not only focus on food and clothing,but also have higher requirements on the quality of life and living environment.At the same time,with the sacrifice of economic development to the environment,the world is continuously warming,the ecological environment is continuously deteriorating,and extreme weather frequently occurs,which has an adverse impact on people’s living environment and social development.In recent years,the global community has paid great attention to the climate.Based on the research foundation of mentor-related topics and my interest in regional research,the Lingnan area with extreme climate characteristics is selected as the research object,focusing on the traditional Lingnan garden.The Lingnan Traditional Garden is a crystallization of wisdom to deal with the hot and humid climate.It is an expression of the idea of the unity of man and nature in gardening art.Gardening wisdom also includes experience and practice in response to extreme climates during construction.This article is based on surveys and questionnaires,combined with ENVI-met simulation to study and analyze the shading design of Lingnan traditional gardens.It can not only summarize the experience of the former man-made gardens in terms of climate adaptability and shading design,but also provide a good basis for future garden design.It has guiding significance for the design of coping with severe weather and can summarize the application of traditional wisdom to contemporary small courtyard design in the space shading design.Based on this,this study is divided into three parts:(1)Sorting out and summarizing related fields to provide theoretical support for the research methods and the paper.Collection and analysis of literatures in research fields related to climate suitability design,such as: microclimate and climate adaptability design theory,Lingnan courtyard climate adaptability design theory,outdoor shading design related theory,solar environment simulation software related research,climate test index related theory It collects and analyzes the literature data in five aspects,and organizes and summarizes it as a method and tool for the study of this article to provide theoretical support.(2)Quantitative research on the measurement,questionnaire and shading space analysis of the Yuyin Mountain House in the Lingnan Garden to obtain its summer shading design elements.Against the background of the hot and humid summer climate in Lingnan,the Yu Yin Shan Fang in Panyu,which is the best preserved among the four famous gardens in Lingnan and has high artistic value,was selected as the research object.Analysis of sensory and objective environmental test indicators,linking the changes of the two with the corresponding space,summarizing the shading design elements and the corresponding shading design strategies of the ancient gardening wisdom of Yu Yin Shan Fang in response to climate,and looking for solar radiation Strongly correlated test indicators are found to be relevant to solar radiation evaluation and indicators,and provide a basis for adaptability evaluation.(3)Through the ENVI-met simulation software,the Yu Yin Shan Fang is used for verification simulation,typical summer day simulation and suitability simulation of shading design elements.Based on the widespread use of the microclimate simulation software ENVI-met in hot and humid areas,the software was used to measure the climate data of the day to determine the feasibility of the software simulation and find out the limitations of the software simulation.Based on the feasibility of the simulation,using the typical summer climate data in the region as the background parameter,the summer shading environment of the courtyard was simulated,and the shading design elements under the summer climatic conditions and the microclimate construction strategies to deal with the summer climatic conditions were analyzed.Further use the software to focus on the simulation of summer shading design elements under different working conditions,analyze its effect on shading and its suitability in practical application.The significance of this study is to explore the design elements of outdoor shading in the Lingnan regional garden,provide construction strategies and suggestions for the design of modern small gardens;based on software simulation to quantify the impact of courtyard scale on garden microclimate construction,and provide reference for modern courtyard-scale garden design;use The black ball temperature and the average radiation temperature MRT are used as indicators to measure whether the person is comfortable under the sun.It is found that the black ball temperature Tg has a good correlation with the tourists’ evaluation of solar radiation.These can be used as a sunshade design method to provide suitability Basis of evaluation.
