With the advancement of economic globalization,the improvement of people's income has brought about the improvement of living standards.People no longer focus on food and clothing,but on the quality of living environment.Moreover,due to the deterioration of the ecological environment and frequent occurrence of extreme weather,it brings great inconvenience to people's lives,and has a negative impact on the development of both individuals and society.For this point,the social level has also given great attention.Based on the research foundation of the tutor's related subjects and my interest in regional research,the Lingnan region with more prominent extreme climate is selected as the research object.Studying the ancient gardening art and realizing its primitive idea of harmony between man and nature,we find that the ancient gardening contains its adaptation strategy and wisdom to regional climate.Based on the investigation,this paper studies and considers the traditional courtyards in Lingnan,which not only inherits the wisdom of ancient people to cope with climate,but also has guiding significance for future climate change design.Based on this,this study is divided into three parts:(1)Collect and analyze the literature of related research fields,such as: microclimate creation and climate adaptability design theory,Lingnan courtyard climate adaptability design theory,natural ventilation design theory,wind environment simulation software,and summarize the methods and tools for this study.(2)Taking Dongguan Keyuan,one of the four famous gardens in Lingnan,as an object of study under the humid and hot climate conditions in summer in Lingnan area,on the basis of field measurement and field investigation,the ventilation characteristics of Dongguan Keyuan courtyard adapting to extreme weather conditions in Lingnan in summer and the methods of adapting to climate are preliminarily analyzed,and the ventilation design of its courtyard layout is attempted to summarize.And the corresponding ventilation design strategy.(3)Based on the verification of the theory of ENVI-met and PHENICS,two kinds of software are used to simulate the observed climate data on the same day,to determine the feasibility of the software simulation,and to find out the limitations of the software simulation.Based on the feasibility of simulation,using ENVI-met software,which is more sensitive to the courtyard space,and taking the typical summer climate data in this area as background parameters,the courtyard summer monsoon environment is simulated.The ventilation design elements under summer climate conditions are analyzed,and the strategy of creating microclimate in response to summer climate conditions is confirmed.Further,the software is used to simulate the design elements of the vacancy ventilation under different working conditions,and to analyze the effect of ventilation and its suitability in practical application.The innovation of this research lies in exploring the elements of landscape ventilation design of regional courtyard,and putting forward the strategy of courtyard microclimate construction.Based on software simulation,quantifying the impact of courtyard scale on landscape microclimate construction can provide reference for modern courtyard scale landscape design.
