Research On The Design Of Household Ear Physiotherapy Product Based On Traditional Auricular Therapy

This subject aims at the development of ear physiotherapy product based on traditional Chinese auricular therapy.Traditional Chinese auricular therapy is an important part of acupuncture and moxibusti on therapy which can relieve various chronic diseases.As an alternative therapy,ear acupoint therapy is widely used in all kinds of diagnosis,treatment and clinical trials due to its safety,painlessness and fewer side effects.In the prevention and treatment of covid-19,ear acupuncture therapy of traditional Chinese medicine has played an important role in relieving patients’ nervous mood and improving insomnia symptoms,which has been widely adopted by the medical team.However,the existing ear acupoint physiotherapy products in the market are relatively primitive in design,and there is a huge gap in the product market.So the exploration and development of new auricule-point physiotherapy products can promote the transformation from traditional manual methods of Chinese medicine to modern intelligent physiotherapy products and fill the market vacancy in this field,which is of great significance to the development of traditional Chinese medicine industry and promotion of the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine physiotherapy methods.This project uses double-diamond design model as overall framework of research and basis of the design process,supplemented by the relevant theoretical knowledge and development status of ear acupuncture therapy,to provide theoretical support and medical basis for the product development.In the problem finding stage of double-diamond design models,from two aspects of the macroscopic development environment and users’ experience,the product market status and using behavior are discussed based on detailed research and analysis,the market opportunity gap and pain point of usage have been defined,which can be the conclusion of product development and later design practice.During the problem solution stage of double-diamond design model,corresponding to the design practice part,product development opportunities and design positioning are confirmed based on the product problem definition.After that,inspiration is spread and product function is planned to complete the transformation from traditional auricular therapyto modern auricular therapy product.After the completion of the prototype production,the actual product is put into the user test and evaluation process.Through the recording and analysis of the user’s actual massage experience,the realization of the current product function is evaluated from various dimensions,as the important clue for the subsequent product function iteration and experience improvement.
