Research On Game Development And Design For The Protection And Inheritance Of Intangible Cultural Heritage

Intangible cultural heritage carries the aesthetic consciousness and spiritual value of mankind and is the crystallization of human wisdom,and it is the preservation and continuation of the history and culture of the whole society.With the rapid development of science and technology,the contradiction between modern industry and traditional culture is increasingly intensified Intangible cultural heritage has been greatly impacted,and most of intangible cultural heritage is suffering from the plight of endangered.The protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage is the responsibility entrusted by history to us.With the development of Internet technology,games have become the mainstream media for cultural dissemination.Intangible cultural heritage and games are combined to effectively protect and inherit the intangible cultural heritage.This paper firstly elaborates and analyzes the theories of protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage at home and abroad as well as the current situation of the combination of intangible cultural heritage and games in detail.By combining the characteristics of games and hypermedia narratives,it analyzes the relationship between them and the role of media narratives in intangible cultural heritage games,and puts forward the main problems in the development of intangible cultural heritage games.The types and characteristics of intangible cultural heritage suitable for game development are deeply studied and summarized,and the extraction method of intangible cultural heritage elements for game development is proposed.Through case analysis,the method of embedding intangible cultural heritage game culture is further proposed,and the integration culture theory of hypermedia narrative system is applied to solve the problem of intangible cultural heritage game culture integration.On the above basis,from the perspective of user experience design,it analyzes the behavior and demand of intangible cultural heritage game crowd,summarizes the user experience elements and hierarchical logical relationship of intangible cultural heritage game,and combines the hypermedia narrative theory.This paper proposes the design methods of story interest enhancement design of intangible cultural heritage based on hypermedia narration,user engagement enhancement mechanism,visual expression to improve user satisfaction,and sustainable development of intangible cultural heritage games.Finally,the method proposed in this study was applied to the development and design of Fufeng intangible cultural heritage game.Practice has proved that the application of hypermedia narrative in the product greatly improved the recognition of Fufeng intangible cultural heritage and realized the purpose of protecting and inheriting the intangible cultural heritage.This study provides a new idea and method for the application of hypermedia narrative in the design and development of intangible cultural heritage games.The design and development method of intangible cultural heritage games based on hypermedia narration proposed in this paper is worthy of promotion and application.
