A Study On The Structure-Integrated Architectural Design Method

With “structural type” as the medium,this thesis studies an architectural design method integrated with structure,,and by transforming the structural type to form a method.The study explores the design concept,design method and implementation method through the structure of the relationship of “structural typestructural typological transformation-structural transformation”.First,the thesis focuses on the design concepts initiated by structural types.Firstly,the structural type is the medium between space and structure,with potential to participate in space composition.Secondly,structural type is the medium between history and structure,the way in which structural types relate to historical memory.Secondly,the method of transforming structural types is studied.From horizontal direction,the transformation of the type of spanning change the prototype correspondence between the room and span.From vertical direction,the transformation of the type of void includes the interval of structures as the dual element of structure and space,to explore the interactive transformation between them.Thirdly,the thesis studies structural transformation to realize the changes in structural types,as well as related implementations.The two aspects of stiffness adjustment and foundation transformation are mainly discussed to optimize the structure and finally complete the space composition.Finally,the design method is applied in specific design exercises and practice,and the design method is tested and the research of the feedback method is adopted.The full text is about 56,000 words and the picture is about 176.
