At present,China's construction industry is facing the challenges and opportunities of adjustment and transformation of the construction industry and reform and innovation.Academia's research on BIM and the construction industry proposes that how to realize the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry by improving the application of BIM in the construction industry is the main purpose of the current research.At the national level,a series of policies related to BIM have been introduced to promote the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry.At present,BIM is being actively applied in all walks of life across the country,continuously promoting the reform of informationization in the construction industry,thereby achieving green buildings and sustainable development.However,China's current BIM is only in the preliminary application stage,and its application in various links in the construction industry is not widespread.In addition,BIM has encountered many difficulties in practice,which has affected the process of informatization and thus affected the realization of industrial transformation and upgrading.The development of BIM has a great impact on traditional technology,and at the same time it has greatly promoted the innovation and reform of the construction industry.Therefore,it is necessary to study the impact of BIM on the transformation of the construction industry,clarify the interrelationships and the degree of influence of various influencing factors,and then put forward scientific and reasonable suggestions in combination with each influencing factor to promote the role of BIM in the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry.This article first reads and refers to a large number of literatures.Through the study of relevant theories at home and abroad,finds out the differences in the use of BIMcompared to traditional technology,studies the advantages of BIM,and initially draws the conclusion that BIM has upgraded the transformation of the construction industry.Designing a questionnaire and collecting data,and then using factor analysis to combine and analyze the relevant impacts with the actual situation,conduct reliability analysis and validity analysis of the data,and summarize the main impacts: economic impact,management impact,quality Impact,technical impact and duration impact,as well as measurement indicators corresponding to each impact factor.Then,a structural equation modeling(SEM)is established based on the measurement indexes corresponding to the five major influences,and a confirmatory analysis is performed on the sample data.Secondly,through the analysis of the results of the structural equation modeling,the conclusions are as follows:(1)Economic factors have a significant positive correlation with the construction period factors;Management factors have a significant positive correlation with the technical,economic,and construction factors;Quality factors have a significant positive impact on the technology,the construction period factors have significant positive correlation effects;the technical factors have significant positive correlation effects on economic and construction period factors.(2)The biggest impact of BIM on the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry is in the technical aspect;the major impact of BIM on the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry is in the construction period;the relatively small impact of BIM on the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry is quality,management and economics aspect.(3)BIM can improve design efficiency and reduce design errors,which has the greatest impact on technical factors;it can greatly reduce rework losses and have the greatest impact on economic factors;it is conducive to fine-grained management of construction and has the greatest impact on management factors;it can improve design changes.Work efficiency has the greatest impact on quality factors;overall construction progress can have the greatest impact on construction time factors.According to the analysis results of factor analysis and structural equation modeling,in order to make BIM better serve the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry and promote the green sustainable and information development of the construction industry,the related issues of the application of BIM in the construction industry can be as follows Solution:(1)On the technical level,increase investment in BIM,mainly in government,enterprises and related units.(2)At the organizational level,through corresponding means and tools,further strengthen the recognition of the characteristics and advantages of BIM,mainly in the government,relevant departments and universities.(3)Innovation level,the key to enhancing the application of BIM is to take advantage of the technical advantages of BIM and enhance the breadth and depth of use at all stages of the project.
