With the progress and development of the shipbuilding industry,ship safety issues have increasingly become the focus of everyone's attention.Since the twentieth century,the shipbuilding industry of various countries has been devoted to the research of ship stability and safety,led by the International Maritime Organization(IMO)and jointly discussing the issuance of a second-generation complete stability rule applicable to all ships.There are five failure modes in the second-generation complete stability rule.For one of the excessive acceleration stability failure modes,there are relatively few studies and calculations in countries around the world.Aiming at this situation,this subject has made a separate analysis on the failure mode of excessive acceleration.This paper deeply studies the two-layer criterion calculation method of the first and second layers of weakness criterion of excessive acceleration,divides and interprets its calculation principle in detail,and uses a large number of different ship types for calculation and analysis.After the collation and analysis of the ship type calculation results,the direct influencing factors of the first and second layers of weakness criterion of excessive acceleration were found out.Previous studies have only analyzed the influence of several ship-type parameters.The research in this article discussed more ship-type parameters,and on this basis,did a more in-depth study.When changing the ship-type parameters,the paper deeply studies the change of the parameters that directly affect the excessive acceleration,and the impact of the ship type parameters are specified to one or more direct influencing factors,which play a reference role for the future ship type development and safety design.The specific work content is as follows:(1)Analyze the principle of excessive acceleration in the five failure modes of the second-generation complete stability,and give a detailed numerical calculation method of the two-layer weakness principle;(2)Li Yong hull shape conversion software CAESES,through the series to change different ship type parameters(captain length,ship width,type depth,buoyancy longitudinal position,square coefficient and waterline area coefficient,etc.)respectively,to carry out ship type transformation to generate a series of new ship types,In-depth study of the effect of ship parameters on the first and second layers of excessive acceleration.(3)Using the over-acceleration numerical calculation program independently compiled by the research group,the 120 series ship types are simulated and calculated,and the calculation results are summarized to explore the direct influencing factors that affect the weakness criterion of the first and second layers of excessive acceleration.(4)According to the calculation results of numerical simulation,analyze the effect of different ship type parameters on excessive acceleration,and analyze the consistency of the effect of the same ship type parameters on the first and second layers of excessive acceleration.
