With the introduction of the "feature town" concept in July 2016,the National Housing and Construction Commission,the Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance jointly issued the "Notice on the Development of Featured Towns",which states that by 2020,About one thousand characteristic towns,and in October 2016 announced the first batch of 127 characteristic towns in China.The types of these characteristic towns are mainly historical and cultural,leisure and tourism,and special customs.After nearly 5 years of development,looking at the current development of characteristic small towns,although some small towns have developed well,most of them are facing "a lack of innovation leading to one thousand towns,lack of branding,and lack of local cultural IP." And other issues.Based on this,this subject conducts some research on cultural and creative products in characteristic towns related to the development of characteristic towns.This subject focuses on practical research,with "Suzhou WangTing Town" as the specific research object.First,through literature review,field research and questionnaire surveys,the relevant information of various types of small towns is sorted and classified,and the impact of different resource types on the cultural and creative design of small towns is analyzed.Existing problems and needs,explore the effective ways to develop and design cultural and creative products in WangTing Town.Secondly,carry out detailed theoretical analysis and practical reference on outstanding cultural and creative cases and mature cultural and creative products at home and abroad,and establish the research direction,thinking mode and creative requirements of cultural and creative product development and design in WangTing Town.Third,by digging,refining,analyzing,and reorganizing the historical and cultural resources of WangTing Town,combining with the actual needs of WangTing Town's property resources,specific design practice research is conducted to develop and design a group of WangTing Towns.Features and brand image of cultural creative products.
