In recent years,with the increasing aging trend in China,the contradiction between the construction characteristics of urban elderly space environment and the behavior and psychological needs of the elderly has become increasingly prominent.Explore how to create outdoor activity spaces and nursing environments suitable for the elderly.Psychological health issues have important social significance and academic value.Based on the theory of horticultural therapy combined with the traditional Chinese twenty-four solar terms as the theoretical support,this article systematically elaborates the research content and research methods of horticultural therapy and evidence-based design;analyzes and summarizes changes in brain function,organ function changes,and body activity changes in the elderly population.And changes in social life,and in-depth exploration of the behavioral patterns and environmental needs of the elderly;on the basis of further combing the literature,theories,and practical cases related to the rehabilitation landscape at home and abroad,innovatively proposed an age-friendly rehabilitation based on the solar term Landscape design strategy.The thesis takes Suzhou Xietang Senior Apartment,Yirenian Apartment,and senior citizens in the neighborhood of Ruirui as research objects.Through field visits and questionnaire surveys,it understands the cognitive benefits and landscape preferences of the elderly's horticultural operations,and analyzes the elderly's rehabilitation landscape demand factors and elderly.Based on the time and space distribution characteristics of people's outdoor activities,and based on this to design a horticultural therapy intervention experiment based on solar terms,conduct qualitative and quantitative evidence-based research on the age-friendly rehabilitation landscape;analyze the theory of solar terms in the age-friendly rehabilitation landscape The expressions in the design process put forward the design principles and design strategies of suitable rehabilitation landscape space based on the theory of solar terms and experimental conclusions.And on this basis,taking the outdoor environment reconstruction design of the Xietang Senior Apartment in Suzhou as an example,through actual investigation and analysis of the site,on the basis of retaining some native tree species and original facility functions,the strategy of rehabilitation landscape design based on solar terms will be used Applied to this elderly apartment,combined with the support of the horticultural therapy operation site to improve the physical and mental condition of the elderly,the age-friendly rehabilitation garden design of the elderly apartment was completed.
