Rivers are the cradle of human civilization.People have settled by rivers since ancient times.Countless villages and towns have been built according to rivers,and many of them have been flourishing for a long time.They contribute to the inheritance of history and bright our civilition.However,with frequent human activities and the continuous expansion of urban scale,agricultural production and urban construction are gradually devouring the river beaches,resulting in dried-up riverways,falling of water quality,degradation of ecological environment and other severe problems.At the time of the construction of Helinger New District,it is urgent for us to restore and protect the ecological environment along Shilawusu River on the north side of the dustrict,establish the river green corridors,develop river ecological functions,construct harmonious coexistence between man and nature,and follow the urban memory to build up a landscape river.By studying research status and others' excellent cases both at home and abroad,this design puts forward the concept of "comply nature laws-looking for a way to live along the river".I make the design of the river channel and the space on both banks of the Fengshiying section of the Shirausu River following the layout laws of "one axis,two belts,four areas,multi-nodes".For the river body,the design is based on landscape science and landscape ecology sience.Through the excavation balance technology and plant planting,the concave and convex banks of the original river channel are expanded to alleviate the problem of river blockage or excessive river speed in some sections of the river channel.At the same time,in the current depressions and shoals of the river channel,using plants to build up the proposed wetland foam and river floodplain to restore the self-purification ability of the river,enrich the diversity of species and beautify landscape in dry season.On the north bank of the river,the protective forests will be planted to build up ecological barrie and achieve a function of water conservation.For the south bank of the river,take time as the axis to create a narrative space to show the history and regional culture of Helinger.The river of Fengshiying Section will be built into a vibrant river corridor,a city window showing regional cultural characteristics and a riverfront greenbelt where people and nature will live in harmony.
