| Near the Xunsi River District on the south side of the ancient city wall of Wuchang in Wuhan,it was once an important historical area carrying the economic development of Wuchang.It was called “South Market” in the Tang and Song Dynasties.At that time,“South Market” was the center of regional economy and trade,with a large population,concentrated business and tourism,and developed water transport,which affected the whole country.Lu You called it “a big metropolis,though not as prosperous as Qiantang and Jiankang”.Fan Chengda described its prosperity as “Candlelight in the candle sky,flags and boats in the moon in a thousand miles”.However,the area of South Market with farreaching historical conception has not been included in the current protection system of Wuhan's famous historical and cultural cities.The main reason is that the intangible historical relics in this block have not been taken seriously.Scholars' research on the history and culture of Wuchang City is more confined to the city wall,and less attention is paid to the outside of the city wall,while the development of Wuchang City is in nature and in nature.Under the influence of social double factors,the pattern of “city + market” has been formed.The “market” is outside the “city”.Although the block has the cultural connotation of Chinese characteristics,its historical value has been neglected.From the viewpoint of international historical protection,the content and scope of protection are no longer limited to tangible cultural heritage,and great attention has been paid to intangible cultural heritage.The current standard of historical and cultural blocks in China pays attention to material historical and cultural relics,which is a relatively isolated and elite protection mode,ignoring the broader urban historical and geographical environment.Domestic scholars recognize the importance of historical value of unprotected historic blocks,and propose to protect them historically,and even give them a certain legal protection status.Artistic conception is a cultural concept with Chinese characteristics.The “historical artistic conception” of a city is the embodiment of the regional culture of a city,the integration of the historical culture and humanistic feelings of a city that transcends the physical space itself.It also conveys the spiritual thread of history and shows the traditional concepts and construction methods of a city.It is a unique and important cultural resource of Chinese cities,It affects the development of Chinese cities,and the protection of “historical artistic conception” has an important impact on the inheritance of Chinese culture.This kind of block,similar to Xunsi River District,is not included in the protection system because of its distinct historical and cultural characteristics.Because of its lack of legal protection support,it is easier to be replaced directly by the mode of overthrowing and rebuilding in urban construction,thus erasing all the carriers of historical space.As for the protection gap of this kind of block with Chinese cultural characteristics,the article tries to explore a new protection mode or method that accords with Chinese cultural concept,rerecognize and protect its historical value,avoid its annihilation,so as to realize the continuation of urban historical context and the display of regional culture.Therefore,the article puts forward the concept of “historical artistic conceptional district(area)”.The concept of “historical artistic conceptional district(area)” in the academic sense refers to the historical conception that can not be included in the current legal protection of historical and cultural blocks because there are few or almost none of the tangible historical relics in the current situation,but that has had a significant impact on the cities and regions.Furthermore,it is worthwhile to continue and protect these historical artistic conceptions as an important historical and cultural resources through scenario reproduction and other means,and to establish a block synthetically in accordance with the needs of contemporary renewal and development.Besides this academic concept,this paper also has the legal meaning of the intention,that is,it be juxtaposed to Historic and Cultural District to enrich and improve the legal system of historical protection with Chinese cultural characteristics.On the basis of the concept of “historical artistic conceptional district”,this paper explores the management methods of “historical artistic conceptional district” to provide practical operability for the application of theory in practice.In terms of demarcation criteria,this paper puts forward the viewpoint of paying attention to the elements of historical artistic conception.In the aspect of historical protection system,it is expected to be classified into the block level of historical protection system,which is in line with the historical and cultural blocks.At the same time,the corresponding statutory management methods are discussed.On this basis,the concept of “historical artistic conceptional district” is not only to protect “historical artistic conception”as a cultural resource academically,but also to improve the current system of historical protection in the field of legal management,and to construct a parallel framework of historical protection thoughts and legal management with Chinese characteristics.Based on the concept of “historical artistic conceptional district”,this paper discusses the planning theory of historical artistic conceptional district as a theoretical supplement to this concept at the planning level.The planning of historical artistic conceptional district emphasizes that the core idea is to reproduce the historical artistic conception,establish the historical artistic conception as the theme,combine the development needs of contemporary cities and communities as well as the needs of landscape ecology,and realize the reappearance of “historical humanistic artistic conception” and the restoration of “historical ecological artistic conception”.Finally,from the perspective of experimental planning practice,in the planning and design of “Xunsi River Historical Artistic Conception District ”,taking South Market of Song dynasty as the main artistic conception,Nanpu Farewell as the auxiliary artistic conception,combining with the needs of sponge city construction,the paper restored the Xunsi River's water system of South Market,realized the double promotion of the inheritance of human culture and ecological restoration of the block,and shaped the urban cultural temperament.As a practical supplement to the planning theory of historical artistic conceptional district,the experimental planning practice hopes to attract valuable ideas and provide practical reference for the follow-up scholars' research. |
