Application Of Regional Culture In The Park In Hohhot

Today in the globalization,the design of urban parks in China is strongly influenced by the trend of foreign design.Hohhot,as the Qingcheng of Saishang,has a long history of grassland civilization,distinctive national characteristics,the design of the city park needs to show regional characteristics.In this paper,On the basis of the general investigation of Hohhot City Park,this paper selects three urban parks of different periods and types in Hohhot City to carry on the research,based on the literature investigation,and combs the natural environment and regional culture of Hohhot.At the same time,through the field investigation and analogy reasoning method,from the space construction,landscape plants,garden sketch,ground paving four aspects of the three typical park application regional culture survey results analysis.Through research and analysis,it is found that the extraction and application of regional culture in the construction of urban parks in Hohhot mainly comes from local plants,local materials,and for historical events,historical figures and national characteristics,the application techniques of preservation,reproduction and symbolism are mainly adopted.The conclusion is that Hohhot is rich in regional cultural resources.In park construction,people pay more and more attention to regional culture,but Hohhot still has great problems in regional culture.Through the investigation and research of this paper,the aim is to explore the new ideas of regional culture in Hohhot City Park,enrich the theoretical research of regional culture application in Hohhot landscape field,and provide many suggestions and help for the future construction of regional cultural landscape in Hohhot City and other cities.
