With the emphasis on cultural heritage and innovation,the development of cultural and creative products has been paid more and more attention by the society.As a tool of life and an important carrier of culture,font design plays an important role in the design and development of cultural and creative products.This paper studies the application of font design in the development of cultural and creative products based on the idioms in Thirty-Six Stratagems and their historical stories.Through the design practice,it tries to integrate the idiom stories in Thirty-Six Stratagems into the creative design of font,and to apply and display them in cultural and creative products.It not only realizes the possibility of multiple expressions of font design,but also expands the communication form of traditional culture And the design ideas of cultur al and creative products.The research of this paper includes the following contents:the first chapter is the introduction,which describes the research background from the aspects of national policy,market status and cultural heritage,analyzes and summarizes the research status of domestic and foreign cultural creative products and the purpose and significance of this research;the second chapter is the overview of font design and cultural creative products;the third chapter is the practice and description of Thirty-Six Stratagems idioms' creative font design;the fourth chapter is the introduction The chapter is the application research of "Thirty-Six Stratagems" font in the development of cultural and creative products.One is to apply part of font design to the design of cultural and creative products for the purpose of interesting expression.The other is to explain"Thirty-Six Stratagems" idiom and standardize the use of idioms for the purpose of commodity cultural and creative product design.The fifth chapter is a summary and prospect.Idioms,as phrases or short sentences in Chinese characters,often represent a story or allusion.They are a collection of wisdom that symbolizes a certain moral and enlightens people from ancient times to now.They are treasures of Chinese traditional culture.The Chinese characters in idioms are combined with their meanings to carry out the creative design of font graphics,so that idioms can associate their meanings through the font graphics,which not only adds the interest of idioms,but also makes them become visual cultural symbols,showing the historical sense and cultural charm of idioms.Applying idiom graphics to the design of cultural and creative products can enrich the cultural connotation of cultural and creative products and improve the user's understanding of culture It is very beneficial to create products with good liking and interest,and to enhance the cultural communication of cultural and creative products.In this paper,the idioms in Thirty-Six Stratagems are combined with their stories for font graphic design,which fully demonstrates the infinite charm and possibility of font design,as well as the design and development of cultural and creative products based on their meanings,so that the Idioms "Thirty-Six Stratagems" can be displayed and inherited in cultural and creative products,which is a beneficial attem pt to effectively combine font design and cultural and creative product development,and explores new ideas for cultural and creative product design.
