There are many problems in the process of parts such as large energy consumption and low energy efficiency,which has great potential in energy saving.The energy consumption forecast is not only the basis of energy meticulous management,but also the supporting data for the research of energy saving.This research relies on the National Natural Science Foundation-“Research on manufacturing system energy efficiency improvement method based on the energy efficiency of the workpiece”(No.51275365),and National High Technology Research and Development Program-“Research on typical machine tool green production process technology assessment and application support system”(No.2014AA041504),which aims at the research of energy consumption property and processing energy consumption of workpiece.In this paper,a method of predicting the processing energy consumption based on the part feature is put forward.The subject of this research is the rotational parts.The main contents are as follows:Based on the relationship between the feature of the parts and the processing energy consumption,the method of predicting the energy consumption by historical energy consumption data is proposed.Furthermore,case-based reasoning technology is introduced,the feature model of the rotational parts is established,and the "feature extraction of rotational parts – case-based reasoning to predict processing energy" research route is determined.In order to obtain the feature information of parts,the secondary development tool of Pro/E platform is compared and the Pro/Toolkit module is chosen to extract the feature extraction of rotational parts.Then the traces feature recognition method is applied to obtain the part characteristic model via matching the design feature of feature data type based on the deep analysis of the relationship between the characteristics of the rotational parts,the design features of the Pro/E and the characteristic data types.This is the process of feature extraction analyzing.Combined with the process of parts processing,the case representation of feature of rotational parts is presented.The exponential smoothing method of similarity calculation among features of rotational parts is put forward and it is used to correct energy consumption and replace the time series with instance similarity.Then,the case-based reasoning process model based on the characteristics of the rotational parts is constructed,and the effectiveness of the method is illustrated by the example of the spindle.Integrating the rotational part feature extracting with mixture predicting of energy consumption,the energy consumption forecasting system of the rotational parts is developed.The framework,function modules,workflow and interactive interface design of the system are introduced in detail.
