Quantitative Research On The Visual Attraction Of Urban Waterfront Greenway Landscape Space

As a kind of linear landscape space,waterfront greenway connects the scattered green patches in urban green space system,and plays an important role in ecology,recreation and transportation.The acceleration of urbanization process has caused serious damage to the landscape resources,especially to the landscape visual resources.In this context,scholars at home and abroad have carried out a lot of research on landscape visual resources.Among them,the research on the landscape space visual resources of waterfront greenway mainly focuses on the quality of visual landscape,the preference of visual landscape,and the visual attention of landscape.However,there is a lack of research on visual attraction elements and comprehensive perception from the perspective of users.A few studies on the visual attraction of waterfront greenway are theoretical explorations of visual attraction elements,attraction mechanism and attraction characteristics,but lack of quantitative analysis on visual attraction of waterfront greenway.Based on the current research situation,taking Dongfeng canal,Jinshui River and Xionger River Waterfront greenways in Zhengzhou as examples,from the perspective of visual attraction,combined with relevant literature and greenway status,a three-level evaluation system was constructed,which integrated the quality of visual attraction,different dimensions of landscape and different landscape elements.After obtaining the basic data of "spatial scale and distance" and "plant" through the objective data collection of Open CV and the subjective evaluation method of SBE,the two groups of data were compared and analyzed to determine whether the objective data extraction method based on Open CV can be applied to the evaluation of landscape spatial visual attraction.Through the basic calculation of the evaluation data of comprehensive visual attraction quality,different dimensions and different landscape elements obtained by SBE method,the index mean value was obtained,and the reliability and correlation of the index mean value were analyzed by SPSS software,and the indexes with low correlation were excluded to determine the final evaluation factor.The entropy weighting method is used to calculate the index weight of the final evaluation factors,and the visual attraction evaluation model is constructed.Combined with the results of the public questionnaire survey,the visual attraction quality of each research object and each road section is calculated,and its grade is determined.The results show that there is a moderate level of correlation between opencv objective data picking and SBE method.The index weight of different dimensions of landscape ranked from high to low: aesthetic value > functional value > ecological value;the index weight of landscape elements ranked from high to low: spatial scale and distance > entity > water > Color > plants > texture > dynamic scene.Among the three research objects,Jinshui River Waterfront greenway has the highest comprehensive visual attraction quality,with a comprehensive score of 6.020,belonging to grade V;Dongfeng canal waterfront greenway has the lowest visual attraction quality,with a comprehensive score of 5.075,belonging to grade III.In the Jinshui River Waterfront greenway,Longhu outer ring South Road-nongnongye East Road section has the highest visual attraction level,with a quality grade of V,and this section has the highest score in the whole study area;the section from Zhongzhou avenue to Longhu outer ring road south has the lowest visual attraction level,which is grade IV.In Dongfeng canal waterfront greenway,the visual attraction level of Jiuru East Road Pingan Avenue section is the highest,with grade IV;Ruyi West Road Jiuru East Road section has the lowest level of visual attraction,which is grade II,and in the whole study area,this section has the lowest visual attraction level.In the Xiong’er River Waterfront greenway,the intersection of Dongfeng South Road Xionger River and Dongfeng canal has a high level of visual attraction,grade IV;the section from Zhongzhou avenue to Huanghe South Road has the lowest level of visual attraction,which is grade II.Based on the analysis of the survey and evaluation results,the factors that affect the visual attractiveness of the research objects are clarified,and the advantages and disadvantages of the visual attraction of the research objects are summarized.The targeted optimization and promotion strategies are proposed to enhance the visual attraction of the waterfront Greenway in Zhengzhou City,and enrich the theory of the visual attraction of the waterfront greenway landscape space.
