Study On The Plant Space Design Of Waterfront Greenway In Chengdu Pri-Urban Areas

Although,Chengdu became an excellent tourist city and leisure city in China with it’s superior geographical and natural environment conditions, Under the impact of urbanization,Chengdu need to solve a series of problems of urbanization, such as environmental, social,economic and so on.Construction greenway become an effective way to solve these series of urban problems.Plant is the most basic constituent elements of greenway,So the designing of landscape plant place has important significance for construction of greenway.Waterfront Greenway is the most representative of greenways,and it’s a good sample for the study.Currently,what’s more,most of the researches on greenway emphasis on theory,which are short of extend and deepness.This paper attempts to study the designing of landscape lant space in Chengdu,which is few scholars studied.Based on the literature review and the relevant information,I choose three peri-urban areas of waterfront greenway which including 15 waterfront greenway space for case studies in Chengdu.Starting with a basic profile of greenways, by investigating he constituent elements of the plant in Chengdu waterfront greenway landscape space including plant elements, spatial elements and user elements,data collection, collation and comparative analysis,We can draw the appropriate landscape planning and design strategies.In this paper, the constituent elements of the case are summarized in the following three areas:in aspect of the plants element,ornamental characteristics of the plant are summarized;In terms of spatial elements,according to the spatial features, Various space are composed;In terms of users,the user can affect the space.By a summary of the basic elements, It can get the design strategies of waterfront plant landscape space, including structural design and detail design aspects. Structural design, the emphasis is penetration and circulation, compared with the change in plant landscape space, separated and guidance. Details of the design, including the conception, spatial form, plant selection in three areas.
