| Due to the influence of globalization,the regionality has also received more and more attention in terms of the embodiment and inheritance of urban landscape design.City park is one of the most active and diverse spaces in the urban landscape,and it is also an ideal landscape space that converges the connotation of the urban area.Zhongshan Park is a theme park commemorating historical events and historical figures represented by Mr.Sun Yat-sen,which is the largest and most influential park group in China.It is the carrier of social culture,urban memory,and urban ideology,carrying the memory of a city for nearly a century,and it is also a public entertainment and leisure park.Zhongshan Park is of special significance to the modern Chinese urban park landscape,but there has been a lack of systematic research on the regional nature of Zhongshan Park landscape for a long time.From the perspective of the landscape,this paper focuses on the study of the regional and landscape design of Zhongshan Park,discusses the relationship between the two,and concentrates on systematic regional research and investigation on the historical evolution,architectural landscape,plant configuration,and functional zoning of Zhongshan Park in Wuhan.Through research,this paper has obtained the following research results:(1)From the landscape design of the park and its regional research progress,it is sorted out and summarized,expounding the concept of regionality and studying the current status and significance of the regional nature of Zhongshan Park.There are two main approaches to express the commemorative theme space of Zhongshan Park in the country,namely centralized commemorative expression and decentralized commemorative expression.Through these two spatial layouts,the memorial theme of Zhongshan Park is created from the aspects of local environment,regional historical events,regional culture,and local materials.(2)Taking Wuhan Zhongshan Park as an example,the main characteristics of the historical evolution of Wuhan Zhongshan Park are clarified.Wuhan Zhongshan Park has gone through several stages of private garden,traditional park,and open ecological garden.The area of the park is continuously expanding and the water area is large;the park space is divided into the front area,the central area,and the rear area as a whole;the construction of the park is made by the Western garden thoughts,Sun Yat-sen’s commemorative theme expression,and the impact of comprehensive park development.The commemorative theme is developed through decentralized commemorative expressions,and is located in the front and central areas.The analysis of the history ofWuhan Zhongshan Park is an important prerequisite for the regional research of Wuhan Zhongshan Park.(3)The monumental building of Wuhan Zhongshan Park has obvious regional characteristics.The architectures of Zhang’gong(Zhang Zhidong)Pavilion and Sigu(overlook)Pavilion conform to the Western-style characteristics of the historical buildings in Wuhan during the same period;the architectural style of Shouxiang(surrender-accepting)Hall conforms to the typical architectural characteristics of Hubei area;the statues of Sun Yat-sen and his wife reflect the cultural characteristics of modern Wuhan;Songyue(pine and moon)Pavilion and other buildings have antique features,matching the Hubei custom of loving red color.The integration of commemorative buildings with historical events and commemorative purposes not only reflects the regional characteristics of the building,but also expresses the regional spirit well.(4)From the perspective of plant configuration in Wuhan Zhongshan Park,there are62 backbone tree species in Zhongshan Park,of which 56 are native trees,accounting for 90%,and the number of individual native tree species accounts for 96.5% of the total number;34 are backbone bush species,of which there are 33 native bushes,accounting for 97%.The plant configuration in Wuhan Zhongshan Park is dominated by native trees and bushes,and the plant community is mainly deciduous broad-leaved and evergreen broad-leaved forests,which is in line with the typical regional vegetation types in Wuhan.Wuhan’s City Tree metasequoia,City Flower plum blossom,and the Park Flower viburnum have been well applied in Zhongshan Park.Around the monumental buildings such as Zhanggong Pavilion,Sigu Pavilion,and Sun Yat-sen couple statues,a regular arrangement of native plants is combined to create a favorable memorial atmosphere.(5)Wuhan Zhongshan Park is divided into three functional areas: garden landscape area,cultural landscape area,and tree-lined amusement area.Under the background of the times,the park has been expanded on the basis of the original political,memorial,ecological,and leisure functions,added physical exercise,life,entertainment functions.Changes in the park’s function caused by human activities may have a certain degree of dilute to the highlight of the memorial theme of Zhongshan Park. |
