Photovoltaic power has experienced a process from extensive development to refined development.As solar energy is clean,environmentally friendly and convenient,the photovoltaic inverter industry has developed rapidly under the support of policies,and reached a record high of 53.06 GW of new installed capacity in 2017.However,as the development is too extensive,product quality and competitiveness need to be improved.In order to guide the industry to develop to delicacy and transform to high quality.The government issued a new policy on May 31,2018,requiring the photovoltaic power industry to "limit the scale and reduce subsidies".After the new policy,the number of new installations of photovoltaic power generation across the country fell off a cliff,and the competition among enterprises was unprecedentedly fierce.Under this background,in order to survive or take this opportunity to achieve greater development,enterprises must be able to produce more competitive products,so scientific and systematic analysis and research on the competitiveness of photovoltaic inverter products has theoretical and practical significance.Firstly,the paper sorts out the domestic and foreign research literature on product competitiveness,summarizes the current methodsand theories of product competitiveness evaluation,and determines the research thinking of this paper.Then,GROWATT,the leading enterprise of distributed solar photovoltaic inverter in China,is taken as the research object,and an evaluation index and system suitable for the competitiveness of photovoltaic inverter products are constructed from the five aspects of product quality,technological innovation,brand building,product flexibility,cost and price.Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)and expert opinions are used to assign weights to each index in the competitiveness evaluation system,and the advantages and disadvantages of GROWATT's product competitiveness are analyzed.In order to make the research more objective and meaningful,this paper combined the gray correlation method to make a horizontal comparison between GROWATT company and its partners' product competitiveness,evaluated GROWATT company's comprehensive competitiveness,and finally proposed more accurate and effective improvement strategies for GROWATT company to improve product competitiveness.Because the product quality,technology innovation and other three common indicators selected in this paper are used to evaluate the product competitiveness,this study has certain guiding significance for the improvement of the overall competitiveness of photovoltaic inverter industry.
