Research On The Design Of Rehabilitation And Leisure Space In The Medical-supporting Elderly Institution

With the changes in family structure and our aging population increasingly serious situation,our country will be faced with a large elderly population and disabled elderly with relatively high dependency caused by the dual pressures.Traditional Pension institutions of traditional single function can not meet the diverse needs of the growing elderly.Facing the new situation,the state has vigorously promoted the construction of a "medical-support" elderly care institution to solve the problem of medical rehabilitation for the elderly and improve the elderly quality of life.The complex elderly care institution with complete functions of "medicine" and "care" is the development trend of elderly buildings in the future,and the functional space of rehabilitation and leisure space covers the space of "medicine" and "care" in such composite buildings.It is necessary to study the design of the rehabilitation and leisure space of the integrated medical and elderly care institutions.This article mainly explains from the following five chapters:The introductory part of Chapter I emphasizes the severe situation brought about by the aging of China’s population.The feasibility of this model of combining medical care with the support and guidance of national policies is explained.The necessity of dissertation research.The second chapter analyzes and summarizes the current status of theoretical research and engineering cases at home and abroad,learns advanced design methods and design concepts,and hopes that they can be applied to practices that are in line with China’s national conditions and provide references for future design.The explanation of related concepts helps to understand the basic concepts in the thesis,and to clarify the characteristics of the space types covered by the rehabilitation and leisure space under the mode of combining medical care and nursing.The third chapter,through field investigation and summary of the completed examples,draws out the problems and shortcomings of the current state of rehabilitation and leisurespace in the integrated medical and elderly care institutions.The fourth chapter is the research part of the strategy for rehabilitation and leisure space design.Drawing on the excellent design methods summarized in typical examples at home and abroad,we will explore the design of the combination of medical care and elderly care institutions,and put forward suggestions on design strategies for the status situation.The fifth chapter verifies the design strategies and methods through the design and analysis of actual engineering projects.It is hoped that through space design optimization and design methods,it will provide thoughts and inspirations for the design of more elderly care institutions in the future.
