Qiao's Courtyard has a long history and high evaluation among Shanxi's various courtyards, and boasts the same reputation of the Forbidden City among the royal palaces.Such a high evaluation can be attributed not only to the unique architecture as well as rich and beautiful carvings, but to the deep cultural connotations, with the close natural connection with Shanxi merchants and ticket companies.Based on literature review, data analysis, systematic induction and on-the-spot investigation, this paper analyzes and summarizes the architectural layout and modeling of Qiao's Courtyard, carving patterns and their cultural connotation, the development history of Shanxi merchants, the family management and business philosophy of Qiao's family,as well as the local interesting customs. In addition,in the context of“Internet plus”,a new way of tourism was analyzed for the Qiao's Courtyard scenic spot,to find the pain points, that is,to classify what Qiao's family contains, especially the culture and allusions, which need to be told or introduced in writing, and to display interactively with users in APP.At the same time, the most representative building“Ming Pavilion”of Qiao buildings is planarized, the decorative pattern materials of Chinese style were added to reflect the architectural characteristics of the Qiao in the current popular cultural and creative ways and produce corresponding series of cultural and creative derivatives. The use of the app and cultural and creative derivatives will give tourists a more detailed, intuitive and organized understanding of Qiao's Courtyard, thus improving the quality of tourists' trips, and at the same time, the culture contained in Qiaojia courtyard can be better spread and developed.
