Research On The Protection And Renewal Design Of Dongguan Historical And Cultural Block In Yangzhou Based On Spatial Syntax

With the rapid development of social economy,cities are undergoing rapid changes.In the process of urban expansion and construction,the protection and renewal of historic and cultural blocks have become increasingly prominent.For Yangzhou,a city with deep regional historical and cultural connotations,the research and protection of historical and cultural block space is particularly important.The study of city and space has never stopped since ancient times.To explore the essence of space is to study the relationship between space and human activities.Space is not the background of social activities,but a Part of social and economic activities.Space will have an impact on a series of human activities of social nature,such as cultural and economic life.On the contrary,human activities also play a guiding and promoting role in the continuous development of space.From the perspective of urban space research,based on UCL Depthmap software platform and quantitative analysis of spatial syntax,this study attempts to study and evaluate the space of Dongguan historical and cultural blocks from macro,meso and micro levels,summarize the spatial evolution law,explore the existing problems in the spatial structure and propose possible optimization and activation methods.Then,t taking the design and reconstruction project of Sanhe and Simei blocks in the radiation area of Dongguan historical and cultural block as an example,this paper deduces and further demonstrates the unreformed blocks around Dongguan with the research results of spatial syntax.Spatial syntax is used to quantify the space of the project,and guided by it,a more reasonable way of design and update is sought.The paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which elaborates the background,significance,framework and innovative points of the research topic,expounds and summarizes the current research situation at home and abroad and the methods of protection and renewal,and leads to the main points and methods of this study.The second chapter mainly introduces the theory of spatial syntax,the construction of the model and its development and application.The third chapter is to use spatial syntax to discover and raise questions.After analyzing the basic situation of the research area and building the syntax model of the spatial research,the quantitative research and spatial evaluation of Shuangdong historical and cultural block in this study are carried out at three different spatial levels,combined with the existing plots in the block.This paper demonstrates the results of the research through the example of transformation and renewal,and summarizes the feasible strategies of space renewal and activation of historical and cultural blocks under the guidance of spatial syntax.The fourth chapter is to analyze and solve the problems in specific cases.The protection and renewal methods summarized are used to study the planning and design examples of Sanhe and Simei blocks in the region,to quantify the problems existing in the design space and to make more rational and targeted renewal and activation design.The fifth chapter summarizes the full text,and reflects on the shortcomings of this study and prospects for future research.
