Research On Investment Decision Of Gantry Crane In Container Yard Based On Simulation

With the steady and rapid development of the economy oriented to the global market,the volume of import and export containers in domestic container terminals presents a steady growth trend,as well.As a buffer zone for the import and export materials in the port,container yard is under great pressure in the process of connecting the operation at the wharf with the logistics of the landside.How to obtain the highest input-output ratio under the premise of ensuring the service level of the container yard,through reasonably utilizing the limited space resources and project funds and planning the infrastructure construction and mechanical equipment input of the container yard,is a problem closely concerned by terminal operators,and also the key study problem of this thesis.As the most expensive mechanical equipment in container yard,the planning and arrangement of investment project of gantry cranes not only involves a large amount of initial capital,but also concerns the long-term operation and development of the container yard enterprises.Input too much will cause the waste of capital and increase the cost of daily operation.Input too little will reduce the turnover speed of containers,which is not conducive to the improvement of the service level of the storage yard.The rational planning of gantry cranes investment should be based on the actual situation of container yard operation and the economic evaluation index.Based on the theory of investment decision and system simulation,this thesis systematically analyzes the current situation of container yard operation and the problems existing in its management,and establishes the evaluation index of gantry cranes investment scheme according to the goal of yard investment management.According to different operation rules and processes of multi-type gantry cranes in the container yard,a simulation model of gantry cranes operation system in the container yard is built based on the Flexsim simulation platform to simulate the operation state of the gantry cranes under different investment schemes in the real operating environment.Then,a case study on the renewal investment of gantry cranes in a container yard is carried out,and a large number of simulation experiments are conducted to analyze the operation status of the gantry cranes under different investment schemes,so as to preliminarily filter the feasible investment schemes.Finally,according to the economic evaluation index,the alternative investment scheme is further evaluated,and the optimal renewal investment scheme of gantry cranes of the container yard is finally obtained,which provides a useful reference for the investment planning of the actual container yard equipment.
