Based On The Campus Green Space Accessibility In Space Syntax Research

As an important carrier of college students' study and life,green space plays an indispensable role in the campus space system.With the expansion of the teaching scale and the increase of the number of students in colleges and universities,the requirements for the quality of the campus environment are gradually improved.As an important part of the campus environment,the campus green space has higher requirements for its planning,design,construction and development.Accessibility,as a prerequisite for space use,is an important evaluation basis for evaluating the rationality of campus green space layout and the fairness of use,which is related to the reasonable use of green space by people on campus.Therefore,the research on accessibility is of great theoretical and practical significance to play the function and utility of campus green space and meet the use needs of campus teachers and students.In this study,hongxiang campus of The University of South China is taken as the research object.Based on the space syntax theory and Depthmap software as the main operating tools,the accessibility of campus green space space is analyzed.Based on the accessibility analysisresults,the characteristics and problems of campus green space layout are explored,and relevant optimization strategies and reference design schemes are proposed.First extract the campus and the map into the axis,the road network using Depthmap software integration for the campus green space,understandable and space efficiency value variable indexes such as syntax analysis,to the global accessibility,local accessibility,accessibility of perception,psychological accessibility four major accessibility analysis quantitative indicators,on the campus green space accessibility a comprehensive evaluation.Research shows that:(1)the campus space core is clear.Influenced by the campus space structure,the accessibility of green space is generally high in the central area and low in the non-central area.The average accessibility of campus green space is higher than the average of the whole campus space,which indicates that the green space layout is relatively reasonable.(2)the accessibility of green space in different regions varies greatly.The accessibility of green space in non-core areas of the campus is generally low.Due to location and traffic factors,some green space has poor global accessibility,local accessibility and efficiency.(3)the perceived accessibility of campus green space is generally low.Among them,the spatial distribution of green space is partly mismatched with the global accessibility and local accessibility.Some green space with large area has a low efficiency value,which isless attractive to people and difficult to make full use of.Based on the research results,some reasonable Suggestions and optimization strategies are put forward for the layout system of green space on campus,such as strengthening the connection between green space on campus,improving the attraction of green space,improving the transportation network on campus,and improving the accessibility of green space on campus by combining with the accessibility analysis.Moreover,from the perspective of accessibility,three campus center green Spaces are selected for optimization design,which provides reference for the future construction and development of campus green space.
