| In recent years,urban color planning has attracted the attention of many cities in China.The compilation of an excellent urban color planning is significant to show city culture and character,to extend city culture and to improve the quality of cities.The West Coast New Area of Qingdao has rich natural resources and enjoys superior geographical locations.After the Overall Planning for the West Coast New Area of Qingdao was approved and implemented,the West Coast New Area of Qingdao entered a new stage of rapid development.In the process of new city construction and old city reconstruction,due to the lack of attention to urban color planning,colors of buildings in the new area show a series of color chaos,such as serious homogeneity,indiscriminate use of color and poor color management,which greatly destroys urban characteristics of the West Coast New Area.Therefore,it is particularly important to plan and design urban colors of the West Coast New Area as soon as possible.Based on the above background,this paper takes urban color of the West Coast New Area as the main research object to explore urban color planning suitable for the West Coast New Area.This paper summarizes relevant experience by conducting a research review of theories and practice of urban color planning's at home and abroad and explores city color planning methods and planning principles by analyzing main components of city colors.On the basis of that,this paper conducts a field survey of the West Coast New Area to analyze problems in the present color situations.Finally,this paper constructs technical routes for urban color planning of the West Coast New Area and applied them to practice.Compared with the previous urban color planning,this paper pays more attention to the evaluation of current colors and highlights the color control of coastal zones in the planning.It is hoped that it can be used as a reference for the follow-up planning of the city color of the West Coast New Area. |
