Design And Application Of Silk Cultural Products Based On Cyanotype

Cyanotype is one of traditional photography technology.In contrast to film processing and digital technique,it does not require a camera,but relies on contact transfer and UV light for exposure development.The most striking feature of the cyanotype artworks is presenting a Prussian blue tone,and is richly layered and detailed,and has strong expressiveness.Moreover,it is suitable for a variety of materials,including fabrics,which provides new design ideas and processes in the field of textile design.Based on this,the project carries on an in-depth study on the theory and application of cyanotype technology in silk cultural creations design,and focuses on experimental principle,development effect,technical features and innovative methods.Firstly,taking the cyanotype technology as the research object,this dissertation summarize and sort out the the concept,development background,principle and process of the cyanotype technology by reading literature,doing online-investigation,etc.,in order to clarify cyanotype's.After classifying and testing the techniques of cyanotype,there are three main methods and their characteristics have been summarized.These works lay a solid foundation for the practical design of the probject.The dissertation on the basis of previous work explains the artistic characteristics of cyanotype technology from three aspects of pattern,color and handcraft.Comparison research study was conducted between cyanotype and the Chinese indigo printed fabric process has also been done.Although they have similarities,cyanotype technology shows superiority in textile design.It has own unique charms in Prussian blue tone,implicit patterns and personal handcrafted creativity.Applying it to the design of silk cultural creations not only enhances the cultural connotation,but also makes products more personalized and fashionable.Secondly,the dissertation summarizes the current market situation and shortcomings of silk cultural creations based on the research and analysis.Cyanotype not only has certain cultural,innovative and commercial value,but also can add new possibilities.Have been figured out innovative methods to the design of silk cultural creations.The theoretical guidance for innovation design will be offered from three aspects such as pattern,color and technology.Finally,the project do the practice of the design based on the research work,then it fully validated the feasibility of cyanotype used in silk productions design filed.The author believes that the combination of cyanotype technology and silk products is the integration and innovation of Chinese and Western culture,and more importantly,this integration provides new ideas and new forms of expression for the current silk cultural creations.Focusing on current two hot themes of "environmental protection" and "retro",the project designs and creates decorative paintings and environment-friendly bags and achieves integration and innovation theme conception,inspiration source,product positioning,expression form,process integration,etc.It is a innovative attempt to apply cyanotype in silk cultural creation.This dissertation explores the combination of cyanotype technology and silk cultural creations design,and the design fits for the current aesthetic and practical needs of consumers,and offers the new creative ideas and forms of textile design field.
