The airport is closely linked to the regional economy.Great airport traffic conditions promote the flow of inter-regional factors, and the development of regional economy will be fed back to the airport.Since the beginning of the new century, most of the major cities in China have taken the lead in developing civil aviation by virtue of their location advantages, which not only promotes the local regional economy but also promotes the economic development of surrounding areas. However, there are still some problems in the process of airport and economic development in our country. Not only hasn't it promoted the progress of the surrounding areas, but it has made the gap wider and wider. It is of great theoretical significance and practical value to study the spillover effect of airport space for promoting the benign interaction between civil aviation traffic and economic growth in China and realizing the coordinated development of regional economy. In this paper, the economic spillover effect model of airport was constructed based on spatial econometric model, and the spillover effect of airport on regional economy was analyzed.First of all, based on the review of relevant literature and theories, the characteristics of airport economic spillover effect were explored,as well as its action path mainly through changing the flow of factors, promoting the specialization of labor division and market scale.Secondly, the spatial weight matrix was reasonably constructed, the spatial autocorrelation of regional economy was tested by using the method of global Moran index and local Moran index, the spatial clustering characteristics of the research area were measured and the spatial statistical analysis was conducted,so as to determine the selection of spatial econometric model to study the airport economic spillover effect. Then,in order to measure the airport economic spillover effect, this paper rationally selected the spatial Durbin model for empirical evaluation, and compared it with the empirical results of traditional econometric model. The conclusion was drawn: without considering the spatial spillover effect, the study overestimates the impact of airports on regional economy, and the positive spillover effect of China's airports on regional economy is greater than the direct effect of airports on regional economy. Finally, this article put forward policy recommendations such as improving the airport infrastructure system, developing the airport economy, and formulating reasonable rules and regulations.
