Study On The Spillover Effect Of China's Airport Economic Demonstration Zone

Since the end of the 20 th century,with the acceleration of economic globalization,the airport as a country and the area opening to the outside window,has not only is air transport node,and it is a new engine to promote the development of regional economy,Bridges,participate in the international division of labor and evolved a depends on the airport and the formation of a unique economic region,airport economic zone.In June 2015,the national development and reform commission and the civil aviation administration of China jointly issued the guiding opinions on the construction and development of airport economy demonstration zones.The document decided to select a number of airport economic zones that are ripe for pilot development to play an exemplary role.From the perspective of logical mechanism,airport economic zone can promote the development of regional economy by integrating and optimizing regional element resources,promoting the flow of elements between regions,and promoting the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure within the region,which has a strong spillover effect on the development of regional economy.The purpose of establishing Airport Economic Zone in China is to use the spillover effect of Airport Economic Zone to promote the coordinated development of regional economy and national regional economy.So,after several years of construction and development,how does the spillover effect of China's Airport Economic Zone come into being? What is the spillover effect of China's airport economic zone? How to improve the spillover effect of China's airport economic zone? And so on.These problems are exactly the problems that need to be cleared up in the development of China's airport economy.It is of great significance to study and analyze the above problems for promoting the development of China's Airport Economic Zone,improving the spillover effect of airport economic zone and better promoting the coordinated development of China's regional economy.Based on the existing research results and the theories of regional economics,macroeconomics and econometrics,this paper first analyzes the connotation,formation mechanism and transmission path of the spillover effect of the airporteconomy and the airport economic zone,which lays a theoretical foundation for empirical analysis.Then,according to the Feder model,we improve and build a two sector model of spillover effect of China's airport economic zone.We take 12 national airport economic demonstration zones as the main research object,and select 10 non national airport economic zones as the control group for comparative analysis.Based on the results of theoretical and empirical analysis,this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to increase policy support,enhance industrial development potential,and strengthen regional coupling interaction to improve the spillover effect of airport economic zone.Based on the above analysis,the conclusions are as follows:(1)airport economic demonstration area has positive spillover effect on hinterland.(2)The airport economic demonstration zone has played a better leading role in demonstration.(3)Airport Economic Demonstration Zone has become a new growth pole of regional economic development.(4)China should strengthen the strategic position of airport economic zone.The innovation of this paper is:(1)a two sector model of spillover effect of airport economic zone is constructed.Combined with the characteristics of knowledge and technology intensive in Airport Economic Zone,a two sector model reflecting the spillover effect of airport economic zone is constructed by adding science and technology as production factors into the traditional Feder model.(2)New research fields of airport economic zone have been expanded.First,it deeply analyzes the formation mechanism of the spillover effect of the airport economic zone on the hinterland and measures its spillover effect coefficient,which deepens the depth of the research field of the airport economy and widens the scope of the research field of the spillover effect.Second,for the first time,12 national airport economic demonstration zones in China are taken as research objects,and compared with 10 non national airport economic zones.Nanjing airport economic demonstration zone just approved in March 2019 is included in the research scope,and the selection of research objects is cutting-edge.
