In recent years,with the slowdown of China's economic growth,the growth rate of the whole society's electricity consumption is limited.In 2019,the growth rate of the whole society's electricity consumption is 7225.5 billion kwh,only 4.5%,while the national power generation equipment capacity is 2010660000 k W,with a growth rate of 5.8%.The growth rate of electricity consumption is lower than the growth rate of power generation equipment,and the overall electricity demand is relatively low,and the installed capacity presents a state of excess.On the cost side,the coal purchase cost is the main cost expenditure of thermal power enterprises,and the coal price has been in a high state in recent years affected by the supply side reform,resulting in the high power generation cost of thermal power enterprises.In the market competition,the rise of new energy power generation impacts the power market which is not abundant again.As a new energy enterprise of clean energy,it has an advantage in power generation priority,which once again squeezes the living space of thermal power enterprises.In 2019,the loss of the national thermal power industry reached 43.8%.It is hard to change the pattern of surplus,the relentless squeeze of new energy and the pressure of market-oriented reform.Thermal power enterprises are facing a cruel competition pattern.As a thermal power enterprise,company X faces a steep situation,but we must also see that there are threats and opportunities in the big situation.In terms of power market competition,with the deepening of power reform in Henan Province,in 2020,the province will comprehensively implement the market-oriented transaction of power peak regulation auxiliary services,guide the paid peak regulation of thermal power enterprises,and gradually change the disordered competition mode of "price and volume" into the orderly competition mode of "rational pricing".In terms of coal market,with the end of the "13th five year plan" coal capacity reduction task and the continuous release of high-quality coal capacity,the supply and demand situation in the domestic coal market has changed from the current tight balance to relativelyloose,the contradiction between supply and demand will be eased,and the coal price center is expected to gradually move down.In terms of national policies,the provincial government issued the action plan of coal consumption reduction in Henan Province(2018-2020),striving to reduce the total coal consumption of the province by about 15% compared with 2015 in 2020.In principle,it is forbidden to build or expand traditional industrial projects with simple excess capacity,and it is proposed to resolutely reduce the coal consumption of non electric industries,and accelerate the exit of backward and inefficient production capacity.Under the three factors,X company has a rare opportunity for development.Based on the current situation of domestic thermal power enterprises,this paper analyzes the internal resources and external environment of X company.With the increasingly fierce market competition in the power industry,and increasingly stringent environmental protection policies and regulations,X company must take advantage of its own technical characteristics,seize the opportunities faced by the current environment,and avoid the threats.This paper mainly studies the development strategy of X Company under the current competition pattern,combines with the practical exploration of X company in the process of turning loss control and transforming development,and actively considers how to apply the strategic management theory to the development strategy formulation of X company,and develops the development strategy suitable for X company,and puts forward a series of safeguard measures.It can be used for reference for similar enterprises to survive in the market competition.
