The Opening Of China Railway Express And The Inflow Of-Enterprises

In September 2013,Xi jinping,general secretary of the proposed construction of the "new silk road economic belt" and "Marine silk road" in the 21st century's cooperation initiative,initiative taking,discuss,sharing principle,adhere to the open cooperation,harmony,tolerance,market operation,the construction of the mutually beneficial and win-win idea,is to promote the common development of all countries in the regional cooperation platform.Backed by the "The Belt and Road" cooperation initiative,the China Railway Express is an international combined transport train from China to Europe and countries along the route of the " The Belt and Road ".It is the main support for international land transport and an important starting point for the implementation of the "The Belt and Road" strategy.Since the successful opening of the first China Railway Express on March 19,2011,the development momentum has been rapid,and its potential as a trade channel has been gradually released.The number and density of freight trains has been increasing,the quality of freight trains has been improving,and the transport goods have been gradually showing diversified characteristics,which has entered a stage of normal development.From the perspective of economic development,ceibs provides a new platform for China's trade development and is an important measure to accelerate the opening up of inland cities,which is closely related to the economic development of cities.On the one hand,China Railway Express have increased the cargo throughput of the opening cities,thus promoting the growth of the import and export trade volume of the opening cities.On the other hand,the opening of the China Railway Express has improved the opening level of the city and the convenience of transportation,greatly accelerating the development of the original enterprises in the city and attracting new enterprises.Under the above background,this paper takes the China Railway Express as the starting point to study the effect of the opening of the China Railway Express on the inflow of enterprises.In terms of the research method,by constructing the double difference model,the regression analysis is carried out on the basis of controlling many factors that influence the flow of enterprises between regions.On data processing,this paper selected the 2005-2017,334 cities as the analysis sample,whether to open class in central Europe as a benchmark,the city group,open the central city of trains as treatment group,did not open the central city of trains as control group,and through the way of assignment 0,1,construct interaction as a core variable,in the city of new enterprise number is as explained variable regression analysis;Heterogeneity analysis and intermediate mechanism test were carried out from the perspective of urban location advantage,import and export,and robustness test was carried out by changing explained variables and adjusting sample size.Through the above research,this paper attempts to answer two questions:first,how the opening of China Railway Express affects the inflow of enterprises;The second is how the opening of China Railway Express affects the inflow of urban enterprises.The research structure of this paper is as follows:the first part is the preface,which mainly elaborates on the research background,research significance,research framework and research methods,research content,innovation and deficiency of this paper.The second part is literature review and theoretical basis;The third part is the institutional background and mechanism analysis of China Railway Express.The fourth part is data processing and model construction.The fifth part is the analysis and test of the empirical results.The sixth part is the conclusion and policy suggestion.Through the above research,this paper mainly draws the following conclusions:first,there is a positive correlation between the opening of China Railway Express and the number of new enterprises in cities,that is,the opening of China Railway Express has a promoting effect on the inflow of enterprises in cities;Second,from the perspective of scale effect and subsidy incentive,it can be seen that the more frequent the opening of China Railway Express and the greater the government subsidy,the greater the promoting effect of the opening of China Railway Express between China and Europe on the inflow of urban enterprises.Thirdly,from the perspective of urban location advantage,the opening of a city as a coastal city or a high-speed railway city will reduce the promotion effect of China Railway Express on the inflow of urban enterprises.Fourth,from the perspective of trade,the China Railway Express increased the import and export volume of cities after its opening to promote the inflow of enterprises.Compared with existing literatures,this paper innovates in research objects and research methods,and concretizes and visualizes China Railway Express,enriching the influence mechanism of existing literatures on China Railway Express.However,there are still shortcomings.First of all,in the data selection of this paper,the enterprise data of the whole industry is taken as the analysis sample,and the specific industry division has not been involved,so the research perspective is not comprehensive enough.Secondly,because there are few empirical studies on China Railway Express,this paper lacks a strong support when using empirical methods for research.
