In recent years,China's inland waterway transportation has been continuously developed,and inland waterway transportation plays an increasingly important role in China's transportation system.Inland waterway vessel traffic volume is very important for waterway construction and ship traffic safety.However,inland waterway vessels have the characteristics of complex ship types and various ship scales.For the statistics of inland waterway vessel traffic volume,it is not only the statistics of the number of ships,because the space occupied by ships of different scales is different,only the scientific statistics of inland waterway vessel traffic volume is needed.Only in this way can we reflect the navigability of the waterway and the traffic safety of ships,and serve the inland river shipping better.For the statistics of inland ship traffic volume,we should fully consider the influence of different ship types,ship sizes and ship speeds on the occupied space of waterway,that is,the problem of conversion of ship traffic volume exists.At present,there are not many studies on the conversion coefficient of inland ship traffic volume,but there are many similarities between inland ship traffic and road vehicle traffic.Many scholars at home and abroad have studied the conversion coefficient of road vehicle,so we can draw lessons from the research methods of road vehicle conversion coefficient.The conversion of road vehicles is basically completed on the basis of parking sight distance,so the conversion of inland ship traffic volume can be similar to that in the field of ships.In this paper,the analytic formulas of inland ship domain size are given through theoretical analysis,so that there is a conversion standard between ships with different ship size and ship speed.At the same time,compared with maritime traffic and road traffic,inland river traffic has obvious difference in two-way channel speed,which leads to the change of ship domain model.Therefore,this paper studies the ship domain and the conversion of ship traffic volume of upstream and downstream ships respectively.At the same time,because inland waterway transport ships include river ships,river-going ships and fleets(mainly barge pushing fleets),they are properly classified in the conversion of ship traffic volume.In the process of analysis,referring to the conversion tables of maritime traffic volume between Japan and China in the last century,the total tonnage and captain of ships are fitted by SPSS statistical software.The existing ships are classified according to the captain or total tonnage by cluster analysis.The average of the long axis or area of each type of ship is taken as the total value of this kind,and the average of this kind of ship and the standard type are used as the average.The ratio of value(the largest number of ships,conversion coefficient set to 1)is used as conversion coefficient of this kind.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)On the basis of full reading of references and on the basis of previous research in the field of inland ships,the theoretical analysis in the field of inland ships has been rationally improved,such as replacing the ship's load tonnage with the ship's drainage,adopting a practical integral solution to the stopping sight distance,and increasing the influence of water flow on the upstream and downstream forms,and obtaining a more reasonable analytical formula in the field of inland ships.(2)Collect and consult the ship catalogue database of Classification Society,analyze the static characteristics of existing ships by SPSS statistical software,and give the curve fitting equation of total tonnage and captain.(3)Cluster analysis of inland waterway transport vessels was carried out by SPSS,and nine clustering categories were obtained.The conversion coefficient of inland waterway ship traffic volume was obtained by comparing each category with the standard category.(4)The traffic volume conversion of inland pushing fleet is studied,and the ship domain model of Yangtze River trunk fleet is obtained.The research results of this paper have certain reference significance for inland ship traffic conversion,channel capacity calculation,inland ship research,inland ship static characteristics analysis and so on.
